On to Day 2 of our trip!

Day 2 is a big day for me. I will be running in the Halloween Fun Run 5K at Animal Kingdom at 7am that morning. I'm planning on having Seth with me in his stroller. I'm currently training and doing well with my running, but I need to get more comfortable with pushing him in the stroller while running. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Up very bright and early and heading here.....

After the run Seth and I will relax at the hotel, perhaps take a quick swim while Anna and Luke will probably go ahead and head to EPCOT so they can get in some bigger kid rides that I'm not really interested in taking the time to do (b/c of Seth) like Test Track.

Ray will be leaving home today and driving down by himself, so he'll arrive probably sometime late afternoon and he'll meet up with us then.

After a little down time, Seth and I will head here....

I don't have a whole lot in mind for Seth to do here but this one is a must!

Hopefully Anna will have gotten FPs to this....

....so she and Luke can ride while I watch Seth and then Luke and I can ride while we trade.

After that we'll probably just walk around World Showcase and enjoy this.....

.....which I'm so excited about!

We will head to the Boardwalk for dinner here.....

I can't find the picture but I'm planning on getting the trio which consists of greek lasagna, chargrilled lamb burger and cinnamon stewed chicken with orzo, plus one of the signature sangrias. Yum!

Ray, Seth and I will probably head back to Pop to get to bed early, but Anna and Luke may head over to the Poly to watch Wishes from the beach there b/c she won't get another chance to see it.

I figured I'd go ahead and share the fun we had on 4th of July weekend! My dad and his new wife Colleen came down for the weekend.

Seth's new thing is kissing and he pretty much just slobbers all over your face....

Now we knew this would be our test run for fireworks at Disney as far as Seth is concerned. Would he cry? Would he flip out? Could he even stay awake past 8:30 to see them???

On Sunday night some neighbors down the street did a small fireworks show. I put Seth in his little car and he did so awesome. He just sat there and looked at them. I had earplugs at the ready but he didn't even flinch, so I didn't have to use them (and they weren't that close to be too loud anyway). Here he is taking it all in....

The next night, on the 4th, the neighbors across the street did their annual fireworks show. It's really nice for us b/c we get to enjoy a great show from our driveway. They spend like $2,000 in fireworks....crazy! So this was our second test run. Here he is sitting in my lap before they started....

As soon as they started they set off this string of firecrackers, which are just loud and annoying, so I took Seth into the garage so that noise would be kind of muffled. When those were done we went back to the driveway and as I sat down I noticed that he felt like a block of lead and didn't move. I asked Anna to see if he was sleeping and she said he was. He slept through the entire thing!!!!! Fireworks exploding over his head and he didn't budge. Just snoozed away.

So either way, whether he stays awake or not, I think we'll be good at Disney.

And lastly, check out how good Seth is doing with cruising now. He's so mobile and as much fun as it is, he wears us out!!!! We rearranged the living room so the end tables (and our computers) wouldn't be so accessible, and that lasted about 2 minutes.....

I'm excited for you to do the 5k at Disney World! It sounds like fun. I am sure you'll be ready to push Seth in the stroller at that point. It seems like you've done well with your training.

Kouzzina looks so good! I was hoping to eat there on our last trip, but Claire was not having the big, sit-down meals, so we didn't do many table service meals.

Thanks! I think I'll be okay but we'll see. And I know the 5k won't be that bad b/c there's characters along the trail and I know we'll be stopping to get pictures with them! As far as table service meals go, Seth is usually okay with going to restaurants as long as we are willing to keep him entertained. Worst case scenario, he doesn't want to sit in his high chair and one of us has to hold him, and if that happens we'll just take turns eating. It doesn't happen often but that's usually what we do if it does happen. That's another reason I didn't want to do the DDP, though....if he's napping or fussy and we decide we don't want to do a meal, no big deal.

Day 3!!!

We will all wake up and check out of Pop, then head here.....

....for breakfast here.....

.....with some of our friends! (And no, I have no idea who these people are! )

After breakfast Anna and Luke will probably go ahead and head to DHS, while Ray, Seth and I will head here.....

.....to FINALLY get checked in at my dream resort!!!!

I can't wait to stay here. I'm beyond excited about it! We plan on enjoying this resort more than any other so far on our Disney trips. Lots of down time in our room, relaxing at the pool and just enjoying the environment!

And THE fountain made so famous by Memom and her wishes!

After checking in, we will head here to meet up with Anna and Luke....

....who would hopefully have gotten us FPs to this.....

Can't wait to see the changes!

Yes, Seth can sit on your lap on TSM. Owen did that last trip. Now I'm guessing he will want to to it himself....and he'll probably beat me. Yes, my 3 year old is better at video games than I am.

And I'm sure Seth will enjoy Honey, I shrunk the kids movie set/playground. Hannah was 15 months on her first trip and she loved it. We spent a long time just letting her play.

Those pics make me want to stay at WL also! It really is a beautiful resort. And a perfect resort for a trip in which you'll have more down time than usual.

Seth can definitely sit on your lap for Toy Story. Claire loved that ride!

It looks like some of my pics in earlier updates have been taken off of photobucket's website. Oh, well....that's what I get for mooching off other people's pictures.

Okay, on to Day 4!!!

Today is planned to be a non-park day, but our plans are very open so if we change our minds and decide to head to a park, it's not a big deal. (I bought enough park days on our tickets to cover every day we're there, just in case.)

I have a late breakfast scheduled here.....

....and my BFF (the one on the right...I don't know the one on the left ...)

But this breakfast is a big IF, meaning I scheduled it but we may very well choose to just sleep in or relax at the pool that morning.....

We'll probably end up here at some point....

Stops I want to make for sure....

I couldn't find a picture of Basin, but I will definitely be stopping in there, too! As well as the Christmas and kitchen stores.

We'll probably have lunch here....

Lots of downtime and relaxing today...and probably a long afternoon nap!

And then eventually we will spend an evening here....

And have dinner here.....

I can't wait! I've been wanting to eat here since September 2008, when Erica and I walked past the restaurant on the way back to our car after Illuminations and the smell coming from that place made my mouth WATER like a flooding fountain! It smelled SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!

I am kind of worried about Seth for this ADR. But the good thing is if he gets moody and wants to get up and move around, the Boardwalk is right there, so one of us just has to come outside with him as a distraction. But he's usually pretty good at meals, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Again, I can't find pics of the food there on photobucket (I really think it's a hidden gem) but I can't help but share these.....drool...........

To bed early after that wonderful dinner and to get plenty of rest for our BIG MK day tomorrow! I *finally* get to take my little guy to my favorite place in the world!

ETA: I totally forgot to mention Anna/Luke's plans for this day! They will actually be leaving today to come back home. But before they do they are going to head to MK for the day. She's guessing they'll probably stay until around 2:00 or 3:00, then hit the road to go home.
