...and a happy New Year! 12/30/2010

My favorite character is Sorcorer Mickey. Every time we visit the Magic Kingdom we go to Philharmagic.

What is your favorite location to be on the ship?

Getting this thread to the top of the list!!!

Favorite location on the park is a chair on Deck 4.

I was just checking and I can start booking online on 10/1 (we are still Sliver). I know we want to do Palo's Dinner and still need to figure out what excursions we want to do.

When can you start booking online and what are you most looking forward to booking?

I can start on 10/1 as well. Which will be the first day I am in Disney for the Halloween 5K there. I guess I'll have to book Palo Brunch before I get on the plane. :) I've never eaten at Palos and will be dining solo there if anyone wants to join me.
Where would you go if Disney offered a special itinerary to anywhere in the world?

Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far.

Is it too early to start packing:goodvibes???

I've got a question, has anyone cruised this time of year before? Just wondering what the weather and the water temp will be like? Growing up in Miami, I know that December can go either way. I'm so hoping that it will be a warm winter (or at least that week).

The stores are having some awesome sales now on summer clothes, I hope I will be able to wear all these cute sundresses!!!

Thx, Mimi

Mimi - I haven't cruised in Dec, but I understand that Florida can be cool, but once we get into the Caribbean it should be nice and tropical and perfect for those sundresses. :yay: CC might be cooler than the other ports.

I need to go find a formal dress. But I am also hoping to drop a few pounds before we go on the trip, so that I can fit into my last year clothes.

On our cruise last October, it was never cold or cool, but rainy, so while we didn't need sweaters or jackets (even in the dinning room), we needed rain gear at the ports. I am hoping for no rain!!!

We are doing the DW Halloween 5K this year as well. We have never done Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween Party and are looking forward to it. Alex

Alex - I was noticing all the cruises you have been on. And then realized why you didn't have this cruise on your list... Because you couldn't fist a "First" about it. As you know this will be the "Last Wonder Caribbean cruise before it goes West"

Also we will be getting off the Wonder when you board it to go to Canada. :)

Those are not all the cruises we have been on, only the "firsts" for DCL. We have been on lots of other cruises, too many to list. And you are absolutely correct, can't have a last with all the firsts! We have shirts with all the first cruises embroidered on the back. When we went on the 10 year anniversary cruises for the Magic and Wonder, we put the dates on the sleeves so we would not mess up the back.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Any picture's of your shirts?

You all have been quiet on this thread? How is your weekend?

Our DD8 Start's school tomorrow, she is more than excited!

Mine are out of school now, so I will just go to work as normal.:goodvibes
Haven't been around much since we have been dealing with my Mom's chemo problems for the last couple of weeks. We are nearing the end of the treatments, but they are affecting her worse as we get closer to the end.
The numbers show that it is working so we keep trudging on, and looking forward to the cruise. ;)
We ordered her a new dress and jacket and me a new top. I am taking DD to Dallas in a few weeks to shop for a new formal outfit as her birthday present. She is looking forward to that. We will also have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory! :woohoo:

I just wanted to say to all "Have Fun on this cruise" Disney came out with cat 12 rates for this cruise so I had to take it. It was only $1000.00 more for the 3 of us and we get 4 more nights! So I'm sad that I won't be cruising over New Years but not to sad because I get to see what is like to cruise over Christmas!

FYI - I will be releasing a gty for 2 adults and 2 children on Tuesday if anyone is interested I grabbed it incase friends of ours wanted to join but they couldn't so it should be back up for grabs on Tuesday. I believe the total was $5200.

I am somewhat computer challenged, hard for me to put pictures on disboard. We will be the one's at the port wearing a blue shirt with red, yellow and black embroyed dates a cruises on the back. We are usually easy to spot. Alex

Ours have been out of the house for a while. Now we just have to put up with the school buses when heading to and from work. We have several friends at church having undergone or currently undergoing chemotherapy, it is difficult as friends, can not imagine what it is like with your mom. Hope everyones gets through things OK and the treatments are successful. Alex

We were on the Wonder for Thanksgiving one year and the Christmas stuff was up. The tree in the atrium is impressive as were all the other decorations. I love the charactors in thier holiday outfits. Alex

Sorry to hear you're leaving us, I wish my hubby would let us go on a Christmas cruise but he has this thing about "family" :) Still I think it would be kinda cool.

Hi Marcy - Enjoy. We will miss you and would have loved to be on that cruise, but the reason for us doing this cruise is the birthday's and NYE, that we will be celebrating. You were right that it is such a great deal!
