I've never been to AKL before. I've thought about trying to slip over there to eat sometime so that we can check it out, but seeing Jeremy's reaction, that meal might be way too expensive.

I like the idea of an adults only trip.

I'm really excited about this trip! It's going to be so much fun and I know it will go by way too fast already. I'm glad Jeremy found a favorite deluxe resort. It makes the whole trip just a little more perfect.

It was a very nice day. We are expert relaxers, which is good since we'd need lots of energy for our night.

I thought that was fun, including that story now before our next trip. I'm really glad it all worked out and we're able to go. I've heard the Dolphin is really nice, too. Beach Club would have been amazing, but the Dolphin's location is just as good.

Before we had the boys, every morning used to be a lazy morning. I kind of miss those days of spending our mornings relaxing at the resort and heading out to the parks in the afternoon and staying out as late as possible. It'll be awesome to get to do that again on our next trip. Thanks!

The boys really did love the animals. Zebras and giraffes are two of their favorite animals.

But the Poly has the Castle views! I do like seeing the animals, but I'd pick a Castle view every time.

It certainly could be an expensive meal! I never expected Jeremy to love it that much. I'm really glad though, even if it will be expensive in the long run. I've learned that Disney World isn't a cheap hobby, but that's okay.

The lobby is beautiful at AKL and the savanna and the animals are all really amazing, too. I actually stayed there once before a long time ago, and I can't wait to be back again.

Thanks! I'm glad you like my TR! It's kind of fun to have the boys be getting so big now. Carter can finally go on some of the big rides and Landon will be tall enough pretty soon here, too.

It was definitely a good decision to visit that day, since Jeremy liked it so much and it led to this trip coming up. I'll have to wait another day to stay in my dream resort, though. My dream resort is still the Poly. But in the meantime, AKL will do very nicely.

I always found it a bit hard to believe that Jeremy honestly didn't prefer any deluxe over another, so it was good to figure out his favorite. The Poly has the best location and I think it's the most beautiful, too. Any deluxe is great, though.

I don't know why we never think to go to Captain Cooks for lunch, everything always sounds so good! And they have self serve Dole Whips! Cute idea putting them in the little ketchup containers! Hope Carter finally falls asleep!

Oh no, oh no! Its just terrible when you know the kids need naps, and they're not buying it! I bet Jeremy got Carter to sleep, he always seems to swoop in and get things fixed!

I like the look of those sandwiches at Captain Cooks! I meant to get there for lunch when we were at the Poly in Dec, but it never happened. Maybe I'll get my chance in Oct, when Everett and I are at the contemporary. I'm thinking it might be a tough choice between the pork and the grilled cheese.
