An Unforgettable Finish- Oct 2011 TR **Happily Ever After (Completed 5/3)

hi! I'm new to TR's and just finished catching up with yours! I love your little guys, they're so cute! that crowded night sounded awful, but everything else sounds lovely so far. I'm jealous that you had time to go slow, do what you all wanted, etc.

I hope the wheel thing isn't a big problem. My parents got us a City Mini Double stroller for Christmas since we'll be needing one soon.

The walk looks very enjoyable. I've thought about walking from DHS to EPCOT a few times, but it has just never quite worked out that we've actually done it.

Edit: The Wolverines got it done! The Big Ten needed that one bad after yesterday.

That boat ride sounds miserable! Looks like it was a beautiful day for a walk, though. Hope that wheel straightened out for y'all!

What a beautiful day for a walk! The Epcot resorts are just WOW. So awesome.

I agree, I would totally want to stay at the Yacht Club, although I tend to lean more towards Beach Club. Have you stayed at that one?

What a gorgeous day for a walk! I hope the stroller situation was resolvable (and I hope resolvable is an actual word :rotfl:). How nice that Jeremy doesn't have a resort preference, leaving the choice up to you!

We always eat outside since maneuvering with 3 small children in there is not easy. I guess we have just been lucky with the weather being nice.

I've never thought of eating outside there, but if the weather was nice, I bet it would be nicer than eating inside. Maneuvering our two small children wasn't easy either, and I'm sure it would be harder with three.

Hi! Welcome! Thanks, I think my little guys are pretty cute, too. Other than that one crowded night, the rest of the trip was really great. It was nice to have such a long trip. Somehow, it was still over way too quickly. :rotfl:

I think you'll be happy with the City Mini Double. It's a great park stroller and it's handy for around town. I don't think trouble with the wheel is very common.

It's a very pleasant walk on the way over. It does take a long time, but it's worth it, with all the cool things to see along the way. And it's nice to be able to park hop without disturbing sleeping babies.

I'm glad they won that game. It was almost just like old times, before Rodriguez.

I couldn't wait to get off of that boat! Walking was nice though, so it all worked out. It was a really pretty day. The wheel was fine when we were going straight. :rotfl:

The walk from DHS to Epcot is so nice and it was especially nice that day. I'd love to stay there at an Epcot resort someday.

I've never stayed at any of them yet, but I've visited a few times. I think the Yacht Club looks really cool, but I'd certainly love the Beach Club or Boardwalk Inn, too.

I loved how blue the sky was that day. And the weather was perfect, too. Warm, but not hot. I think resolvable is an actual word, although at the moment, I had no idea how we would resolve it.

We like it so far. Acutally we asked for a City Mini based partly on comments you've made about yours in your TR's and then when we saw them everywhere in WDW with rental tags on them, we figured they must be some pretty durable strollers.

DW went shopping last week with her sister. Landon and our nephew were riding in it and seemed to enjoy riding side by side. Landon usually has to be strapped kicking and screaming into the stroller, but he jumps right into this one.

Uh oh! Stroller wheel troubles are not fun. I hope it doesn't cause a lot of trouble going forward, but I am surprised yours' had this issue. This was something I saw again and again in reviews for the double we bought, but were lucky enough not to have any troubles. Despite the stroller, it does look like a nice little walk! :)

Beautiful pictures!! we are thinking about walking from the Swan and Dolphin to EPCOT when we go for our wedding...was it a bad walk?

Oh no! I hope you were able to get the stroller fixed, nothing is worse than stroller issues!

I'm with you, the walk is way better than the boat! If you get off at the Swalphin you can usually beat the boat anyway, since they have to make two more stops before Epcot!

They are great Disney World strollers and of course, that's the most important thing when buying a stroller.

I hope Landon continues to like the stroller. My Landon liked it at first and then the novelty wore off and now he tolerates it bravely, most of the time.

I was surprised, too. We had thought it was one of the more reliable and sturdy strollers out there, but I'm guessing it was just a fluke. :confused3 It was a nice walk, even with the wheel messed up.

It wasn't too far, at least not on the way there. Coming back, it seemed a lot longer. :rotfl: I think from the Swan and Dolphin to Epcot wouldn't be too bad.

Of all the places for stroller troubles, I really wouldn't have chosen Disney World, but I guess it all worked out okay.

I love taking the boat when we're sitting outside in the back, but inside, the boat was miserable. It really did seem to go so slowly that afternoon. I bet we did get there before the boat did.

How great that the boys were taking such a nice, long nap! :thumbsup2 We haven't done the Sum of All Thrills but I'm sure I wouldn't be able to put together a good coaster. How much time are you given to complete it?

Oh wow, how awesome that they slept for so long! Disney magic haha.

I'm glad you got Jeremy out of his bad mood. :thumbsup2

That Sum of All Thrills thing looks crazy... what in the world? Hahaha I haven't ever actually seen it in person so I always pictured it as one of those simulators you see at state fairs and what-not. That looks so much cooler!
Don't worry I think I would do the exact same thing and end up with a very lame ride hahah.

I can only dream of my DD taking a nap that good in her stroller. I think she's maybe fallen asleep once since she's gotten big enough to ride in the stroller without the carrier.

Glad you were able to calm Jeremy down so you guys could enjoy your quiet time.

Wow, those two boys were crashed! Glad you and Jeremy were able to get plenty of time to relax and enjoy Epcot by yourselves.
The design portion of Sum of all Thrills really is rushed. I understand that you need to be finished by the time the next group in the viewing room had completed the video, but I always feel pressured. I'm pretty sure if Alex wasn't with me to help create the coaster, I would've came up with something similar to yours.:rotfl:

What a nice nap!

Glad you were able to cheer Jeremy up over the stroller troubles. :thumbsup2

Sum of All Thrills just looks too scary for me. I think I'd feel really trapped in those. :confused3 I don't think I'll ever try it, but I'm sure I'd come up with something like yours' if I did!

Loved the popcorn Vinylmation. Too cute!

"You know it's weird to like Beverly, right?"

"I don't think it tastes that bad."
I never tried Beverly (or Club Cool at all) until our trip last month. I want to talk about it once I get that far in my TR, so I haven't really said much on the boards about my experience there, but I kind of agree with Jeremy. :confused3 The nastiness is overrated. :lmao::rotfl2:

The Sum of All Thrills is something else I've never done. Partly because I didn't know how long it would take and didn't want to make DW and DS wait, but I watched it for a while. Looks like a lot of fun. I'm sorry your ride design experience wasn't all that you wanted it to be.

I liked your comments about Duffy. DW absolutely hates him. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: She keeps saying that Winnie the Pooh is THE Disney Bear.

Wow! Those boys have been napping for a while. I wonder how much longer it can last!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time alone, even if your ride was a bit lame!

Joining in. Love your writing style, and your boys are just adorable! :goodvibes

YAY for long naps! :woohoo:
