If I'm sitting sipping a margharita all alone, I"m gonna be pretty, well, lonely. I'm still trying to talk Tim into coming and I think Amanda doesn't live very far away either. Spread the word- and I'll try to keep a real list instead of in my half brain.

ADR NEWS!!!


Here's the latest skinny on our ADR making process...

When maroo was there, yes THERE, on Saturday, she did the first of our ADRs. She, for some reason, couldn't connect to the internet, so had to make THE (da,du, dum....) phone call.

As we thought, that CM would not make any further ADRs after the 3 days.

Today was day #2 of our ADR, so another phone call was made. Again, just as we thought, the process is very random, depending on the CM you get.


Some will link ressies, some won't. The first one didn't............... this one DID!!!!!

So, in order to drive you all crazy, and to build up the anticipation, I can tell you that ALL our ADR's are made.

As I sit and type this, I can honestly tell you that I have NO IDEA either what times they are for. Maroo is suposed to send me an e-mail with all the scooperoo, but I haven't opened it yet. So, I'm feeling the suspense with you! Isn't this fun??

Maybe I should play my own little round of ADR combat for fun, and tell you what yours truly guessed. Now THAT might be fun!

Here's what we're thinking. Glenn suggested maybe for those who want to spend more than just dinner in the area, we have people park by a Metro stop, ride in together to a Memorial or such, hang out, Metro back and meet up with the dinner folks and go somewhere.

I talked to my sis, who lives in McLean, and she had some specific thoughts on this and some fantastic sounding suggestions.

I think it will be very kid friendly. Piper is very welcome to come along. I imagine there will be a lot of yacking, yummy food, and plenty of Disney talk. I can't say that there will be NO drinks, but none of us here are too rowdy.

Hmmm, looks good, but the list of ingredients has me humming,"One of these things just doesn't belong here," Why the creme de menthe? Everything else is fruity, it seems weird to add something creme based and minty. But, I won't knock it til I've tried it (or until you have!)

Let me tell you, it was nuts at the Studios yesterday! They added a 2nd showing of Fantasmic! and pushed the park hours back and hour. I think we are in for a busy week! Hitting MK today and hopefully it isn't going to be too crazy.

It would so more than wonderful if you could be there!! Surely you could come up with some business reason you would need to be there!

DH just got off the phone with DHL. We found out we'd save over $900 if we shipped with them rather than using the airline's overage fees. So, he said he'd think about it during the day and make his decision. Even with saving we'd still PAY $600 for shipping, whereas we wouldn't have to at all if we didn't stop in Germany. Soooooooo, it really comes down to us deciding if 2 days in Germany is worth $600 + $400 (minimum for hotels, food, train tix, etc...) . We should know by week's end if he thinks he wants to do that or not. I am sooooooooooo hoping he will say yes. But understand if he thinks we need to save the cash.

For ROSE AND CROWN, the quaint little English pub-themed place, that serves that yummy looking concoction called the Welsh Dragon, our ADR was made:

I had wanted something close to 1:00, but we again had our pants shocked off, which truly would be shocking if indeed that really had happened, and got a 2:00. A full HOUR later!! Can you believe it??

I think this wil be one that we will definitely keep trying to change. This is a Friday, and we had hoped to hit an MNSSHP that night. This really leaves me no room to take a little break back at the room to rest and change before 4:00. So I'm pretty bummed. But since I'm an optimist, I have great hopes that I can score a better time.
