An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

I am such a dork!

I just posted this on the OLD thread!

THE HOURS ARE OUT!!!!

Wake up, Liesa! And call me. :)

ETA: Your light is on! Are you up?

AWESOME!!!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

ALERT ALERT ALERT!!!!!!! :lmao:

I am sure her husband would not appreciate a call in the middle of the night....

So......

I will talk to you guys instead....

They have Night of Joy at the MK on the Friday AND Saturday nights after Labor Day - So no MNSSHP on that Friday night.

Instead they are doing MNSSHP on a WEDNESDAY night?? What is up with that? Normally it is on Tuesday...??

AHHH Her hubby won't mind!!! LOL

Where did you find the hours? I can't find them? :confused3

EDIT::: OK I found them on the Disney site by starting on September 1 and clicking 'next day'

If MNSSHP is on Wednesday, what other day(s) is it going to be on?

Tuesday Sept 14th the park closes at 7 so that should mean MNSSHP.

GEEZ NOW I'm all confused. I have to recheck your dates again.

I leave the 12th and they leave the 13th.

Since I don't have many trips planned that include a Wed night, this would be my first AK Evening EMH.

Hmmmm.....

ALERT, ALERT, ALERT!!!

The hours are OUT, but Mary WON'T PICK UP HER PHONE!!!!!!! :scared1:

Figures.

Ah well, I guess it's back to the drawing board!! I had AK EMH on Wed. night too, so that'll have to change. Dang!!!

Carissa-----

"My Ladies"

How about what Song of Solomon calls them? "Twin fawns of a gazelle"

"Movers and Shakers"

"My apples"

I'm sure whatever Cherie can come up with will be ever-so-much better...

What?? Are you kidding me?? We can't say ****s on the Dis?? :confused3 That's a real shame cause I'm pretty sure the topic of "my ladies" may come up on my PTR. I haven't read a book yet about running that didn't mention them. Guess I'll need to have a contest to come up with a new word to use.

If memory serves we had a discussion about concrete undergarments for said ladies....

:rolleyes1

oh wait, those were my ladies....

:rotfl2:

Okay I know I have a lot to catch up on here but I saw your post about pick-a-pearl. Do you still want to know about the prices for the settings? The cost to just pick the pearl is $17 after tax.

Thanks for the recon, Jen!! I thought it'd work out to about that as before tax is $15. Yeah, did you look at prices for ring settings???

Have you figured out your plans yet? popcorn::popcorn::

The Disney website is annoying rite now. I want to look at the whole month and it won't let me. IF you do MNSSHP on that Wednesday I'm thinking it might be packed. You might be better at AK EMHs. :confused3

Yeah, did you look at prices for ring settings???

Yes, for a ring setting it was anywhere between $39 (for simple) to $95 (for gold or something really nice) I thought the simple ring settings were fairly reasonable. The type of setting you can get depends on the size of your pearl.

If you get a necklace, they really nickle and dime you. You have to pay for the pearl ($17), for the setting ($19-$90), and then for the chain ($15-$50) :faint:

Yay for hours being out! I have to get to work on my dining scheme. I just found out today that I may need to push my trip later into September, but I am resisting like crazy.

We actually do see a fair number of emergencies at the start of the day. People will often just show up if they are worried enough. Today was a little bit of a doozy, so I am glad to be home now and cozy catching up on the Olympics and the Dis.

Mostly. But you didnt' think I'd give them to you all in one shot did you??!! I have 6 months of PTR to fill up and a little suspense doesn't hurt anyone, right?? :lmao:

I haven't even gone to the hours yet, and mary is still not answering her phone.... soooooooooooo.... this afternoon, after school, I can sit with my spreadsheet again. I think that's the ONLY party we'll get a shot at, so crowded or not, we'll have to do it.

I had heard that about the necklaces. Since I already have the strand of pearls, I'll stick with the ring anyway. I like silver MUCH better than gold, so mine shouldn't be too bad. So, I guess I"m looking at 17+39= $56 Right about what I thought it'd be.

So are your pix uploaded??

YES!!! Hours are a great thing!! Since our ADR date is coming up on the 5th, we need to get this schedule thing nailed down!!! Not stressed, but DO want firm(er) plans. Oh, I hope you don't have to push it out later- I was looking forward to a meeting up for some Kona sushi or something. That was you right that enjoyed a late night snack, right?? I'm almost positive it was you that got me all excited about sitting for a spell with a big plate of yummy fishies getting some people watching in.

As I thought about your work, I wondered if, after a long night of sitting with a sick doggie or kitty, would make them want to get in first thing. Same with sick people, really. I remember many an early morning waiting for 8:00 when I could call the clinic for my little ones.

Cherie I love how your post got asterisk'd! Took me a minute to figure it out.

:rotfl2:
:rotfl2: I didn't notice!

You are SO excused, my friend!!

1) YOU COOKED IN YOUR NEW KITCHEN!!!!:banana::banana:What was your first meal??!!!

2) I had a PMSy girl today too. That sux.

3) Funny how the Board bleeped out B**bs!

4) He'll grow up and be just fine!!

5) Cherie, I hope you can kick this cough soon!!! It's been a long time!:wizard:
I'm glad you accept the excuse, my kids don't.:confused3

There ya go, Carissa!! You've got quite an arsenal now. I notice none of the guys chimed in on this one... But I"m sure they have a few they could throw in too.

Yea but we are smarter than that... we just turn our heads when you ladies start this talk. :rolleyes1

I notice you do the same thing when shoes and bags come up. Which is just fine. I try to (generally ) steer clear of that too. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I suppose when we start a-namin' all's good- but when a guy might chime in, it might be construed as chauvenistic. :confused3

I'd love to meet up for sushi and hanging out at the Poly!!!! I dearly hope that I can keep my original plans.

You're right about the long night's wait for the opening of the clinic. The other thing that happens is that people are worried about being late to work (especially these days) so they want to get in early.
