That's so great you and maroo get along so well!
Well we can be boring together.
OK! But seriously, staying home can be nice too. A good movie, a laptop, a game of Scrabble or Catan, it's all good!!
This reminds me, I need to call Mary.
nah not at all!
sending scud emails to crazed TKD parents
making fried rice
watching the olympics
going to bed
in that order
Mmm, we're having leftover Thai pork curry and fried rice. I wish I could watch the Olympics, but they only show hockey games between Slovakia and Russia.
This a problem we've been thinking about here too for Mackenzie. Since she now wears glasses and needs to have them on to see distance I had to come up with a plan for her some sort of sunglasses for our trip to WDW. I did what Rosie did and took her in for transition lenses just the other day.
Leisa if you have a Costco or a Sam's near your home in OR, when you get back take your glasses and see if they can do them in time for your trip.
I don't mind changing back and forth from one pair to another, I'm use to it now, but with a 10 year old and myself....I thought transition was the route to go for Mackie. The reason I say these places is due to the cost, they are pretty cheap there.
Mine too! I love souvies that don't wreak of Disney and I love the one's that do but have a function, to remind us our wonderful time there. Like a cup my kids may use every day to drink water or milk out of.
My goal this trip is to find Disney glass glasses to drink out of everyday for adults, and a few kitchen gadgets, think I can find them?? Of course they will be hard to travel back with, might have to rethink that one. I'll look online and see what I find that doesn't scream Disney.
Dang close for me!!!
I've been contemplating getting off of here to sleep for hours now.
Dang girl, you and Jordy are good!!
I'll be in Bowling Green first, and I know there's a Sam's there. There's also a Lens Crafters. I'll have to see which is cheaper. I suppose I could just go cheapo since I'm way over budget already, and just deal with the on/ off thing. There could be worse things to put up with.

Like kids asking to go on Dumbo!
We still have Morocco, France, UK and Canada to ponder good souvies. So put your thinking caps on!
Liesa, I haven't posted in ages on your PTR, so sorry for dropping off. Congratulations on booking your flights at a reasonable prize. I always feel that getting a flight is the step that makes a trip so much more real.
I was thinking about getting a pearl at Japan, but then I did not really want to watch them opening the oyster, I would have felt sorry for it.

I really like some of the ring settings, I hope you can do some magic with your budget so that you can get pearl and setting!
WOW! It has been sometime since you've posted here! But I know you've been busy with house guests, so no worries! I am very much looking forward to your TR, and look for it everyday.
I think the oysters may actually already be dead. At least that's what I read on the pearl thread. I really have no idea though.

Doesn't bug me. I'd eat them just as fast.

YUM!
It really comes down to choices between eating at TS restaurants or having a few extra souvies. And right now, I'm sitting squarely "on the fence". Both sound nice.
