This is the most relaxing way to get around while you’re there.

So true about Disney boat rides. My favorite 'voyage' is the one from Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge.

I think that they have closed all the other scenarios of that ride besides the gangster one. You are updating so fast and furious, it is hard for me to keep up!

I read someone saw it a few weeks ago. Maybe they did.
I am trying to get it done. I leave in 2 weeks for another trip and want this one to be done before I go. Don't rush being while I am gone there will be a 2 week break. LOL

I love being able to take the boat to DTD. I would like to visit Saratoga Springs by boat to from PORFQ. Just too much fun to be had down there.

Characters in Flight looks beautiful. I cant believe the views you had. Great shots!

Then we walked some more.

We went by Tower of Terror and Vinny was all for it then saw 40 minutes and backed out. I think nerves had to do with it.

It was now 7:25 and the show was at 8:30. Vinny went off to do what he wanted. We are meeting afterwards for dinner. I now present highlights from Fantasmic.

I almost missed them as they came out of nowhere.

As you can see I did miss Rafiki.

I believe that is Pocahontas.

Then the barges with the Princesses came out. I love Belle and Beast.

Ariel I think?

Snow White.

Maleficent.

Then Ursula was on the screen.

Look out Mickey.

Then the magic happened and it was over.

Walking out I snapped a pic of TOT. Could not really stop without someone walking into me.

At this point it was 9:05 and people were going to TOT even though the park closed. Not sure if they were turned away or not.

Okay now let me tell you how I got really angry. I called Vinny as we were going to Boardwalk to grab a bit so I call him and he informs he just left on a bus to SSR. Oh I was so angry. You waited all that time and could not wait literally 3 minutes. He was still in parking lot pulling out. I cannot say how mad I was.

All lit up.

I get to the resort and meet Vinny.

We ended up eating at Artist Palette that night.
Vinny had the special for the night. Cannot remember what it was but he did not care for it. I had a sandwich.

Then it was bed time.

Ugh, sorry to hear about the obnoxious lightsaber kids on GMR. I definitely haven't ever seen that before!

I have to say, Fantasmic is just not one of my favorites. Too much walking and sitting on bleachers to actually experience it, I think!

Just obnoxious teens. What can you do?
The walking didn't bother me but how early to get there did.
he knows how to annoy me and I do know how to annoy him. 11 1/2 years will do that.

Day 7

A new day has come and today we have breakfast plans with an alien. Our adr was for 8:30 and let’s say we got there with seconds to spare. LOL
Here is a little video clip of the music and announcement when arriving at MK.


We then went and got on the monorail..

You see the cm behind Vinny? Worst CM out there. There were 6 of us rushing up the ramp to the monorail and when the family before us got there he closed the gate on them and would not let us on. The train did not take off right away either. He was not on my favorite list that day.

Then we continued on while on the highway on the sky.

I checked us in and there was a little wait. We went to the gift shop and Vinny got aleve (this was the start of his shoulder problems) and I got Listerine strips. So happy they sell them as I am addicted. Then we went to sit down and wait to be called. Too early for a Lapu Lapu?
I got lei’d.

Oh so did Vinny.

Then we were called and we walked in.

This could be me in the morning. Lol

Character time. First up was Lilo.

A waitress was nice to ask if we wanted a group photo.

The food. It wasn’t bad.

I love the Characters in Flight pics, I am so disappointed that it's gone, I never got the chance to go on it. Maybe they will bring it back someday...

I like the Great Movie Ride, but I think it is in dire need of an update!

Ohana looks nice. I am so silly , I never realized there were characters other than Lilo and Stitch. THere is a shot when Mickey is walking with a boy and a CM to the left. He looks like a really happy joyful CM!

He was our waiter. He was good. Very on top f things but the food quality and such has gone down I feel. We were very disappointed.

After breakfast we went outside and decided to walk over to the T&TC being it was so nice out. Some pics along our way.

There's something so soothing about that walk to/from the TTC, isn't there? Even when it's been a long day at the parks and I'm hot, tired, cranky and about ready to run over someone to get to the a/c, I get to that path and it's tropicalness (is that a word? lol) just chills me out.

To go back to yesterday's post, GMR is one of my favs, I have to admit. Many of my favourite movies are in it. Ohana breakfast is (the bread! oh and Stitch juice mmm) wonderful and your pics made me miss the monorail. I can almost hear (por favor...)

Such a beautiful resort! I plan to get at least one night there one of these years.

We have had breakfast and dinner at 'Ohana. Breakfast was better for the characters than for the food, but we need to do it again sometime, since that was when Brooklynn was about 2.

I love most of the movies to but just something of the ride that bothers me. I do have to see the Cowboy version as I never have.
Another place we are in no hurry to get back to. I think we are done with buffet and family style places. The juice is good though I do like Tusker House's better.
I love hearing "Por Favor". I bought a t-shirt of it.
