This morning brought on laundry. You have to love those mornings. LOL. So after the laundry was done we then went to Downtown Disney. Here we walk to the boat.

Vinny in the winners circle.

We walked over to the boat for the ride (love the boat rides in WDW) and it was just pulling in when we got there.

Still has the old DVC logo.

There is one of our destinations.

This is the most relaxing way to get around while you’re there.

I think they should build a canal from all the resorts to the parks so you can take the boat instead of the bus. It might take longer but just so enjoyable.

We went to Paradiso 37 for lunch. I had a mangled margarita.

Mac & Cheese bites - crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside, served with a jalapeno and cilantro dipping sauce $8.50
Pineapple Burger - 8 ounce grilled and topped with smoked gouda, grilled pineapple, honey glazed bacon, borracho beans, serrano slaw . Served on toasted bun with P-37 fries $14.99

Side Caesar salad - side salad without chicken $5.99
Guacamole - homemade, chunky fresh avocado with Fresh Tomato, Lime & Cilantro. Served with Corn Tortilla Chips. Large: $7.99

It was very good. First time I ever had a pineapple burger and it will not be my last.
The total was $62.64 after the TIW discount and with the 18% tip added in.
After our lunch we went to go up in the sky.

Enjoyed the new updates to your TR. I love the photos!

I must admit, I very rarely take the boats - only a few times from Epcot to MK to get back to our car. We definitely have it as a must do to DTD rather than taking the rental car.

Another thing we have thought about doing (but last time it was just far too cold to do it, and it was not running due to that reason) is Characters in Flight. I can't wait to read your update! I've never seen anyone write about it before in all the TR's I've followed.

I agree on the boats to DTD, so relaxing! I do wish they had better signage as to which boat goes to which resort since they changed them.

I love the boats. I prefer taking them over any other transportation. Yes they do take longer but hey I am on vacation so it is all about the relaxing.
I will post that later on today. I wonder if they have put it back yet? I know they did take all COF out of all Disney parks.

They were both very good and I was really surprised I liked the burger.
I don;t think we had a problem figuring it out. I know by Paradiso it is OKW and SSR. I think.

It was really good. Vinny said to book it again if I want for October but have not yet. I still might.

On our walk over we passed Planet Hollywood. I have yet to eat in this one.

I paid and the came to $36.00. No discounts given. We did have a few minutes to wait. Then we boarded.

Nothing wrong with that.

I would love to do it but I have no idea if it returned. They took it down in July after the one in Hong Kong crashed from 180 ft and injured 5 people. I would go again.

After our trip to the clouds we decided to walk back and look in some stores.

Outside of Raglan Road. Do you see Vinny’s hand? Not a good thing to do when the sun has been beating down on it all day. He burned his hand but he was okay.

Next we hit up the Lego store. Buzz and Woody.

Inside the store I took pics of all Star Wars things.

More Star Wars and this is AWESOME.

Then we left and walked some more. First another lego shot.

Next was World of Disney. Vinny bought a pair of boxers and we both got t-shirts with the characters from the early days on it. I think mine is buried if I find it I will post a pic. I found this pic of it on the internet.

Also we got 2 tumblers for coffee but no pic of them as they are in our purple locker. After our purchases we walked back to the boat. But first someone met his princess.

We took the boat back and had the same driver.

Do you see the red boat? There were 2 girls on it and they were IDIOTS. Did not slow down for any other boats and just steamed ahead. Our driver slowed down for them and did the horn but it did not faze them in the least.

Back again.

Walking back to our room we pass the main entrance.

The quiet pool in our section. LOVED IT!!!

Then we went swimming and then it was time for the evening fun. Or not?

If it opens up back again (wasn't in August) no clue what the status of it is now. Paradiso looks yummy and I really like their outside seating area.

I loved sitting outside at Paradiso. So relaxing and watching the boats was fun.

I googled it but could not find any info except that they are gone and Disney did take the info off their website so I would say it is gone.

There is a 3 hour gap between pics so I can only assume we swam. Then it was off to DHS for the night. The display outside of DHS.

Crowds not too bad especially for what I wanted to see.

Our first destination. I love how they changed this ride but then I am a Star Wars FAN.

Of course we cannot forget C-3PO.

The ride was great. We had Hoth and then Star Destroyer space fight then we were on Naboo.

I cannot stand this ride. I find it so boring but Vinny likes it so I go on.

He was very anxious to get in. LOL

Here we go.

Now a few rows up from us was a guy who had a lightsaber and was very annoying. He thought he was the star of the show. Anyway let’s get through this.

Then they were off to see the wizard.

When we got off the ride it turned out the guy was a teenager and there were 3 of them. They were going one way and Vinny said lets go this way, the opposite. I hate this ride as it is and they just added to that and now I despise the ride.

I love being able to take the boat to DTD. I would like to visit Saratoga Springs by boat to from PORFQ. Just too much fun to be had down there.

Characters in Flight looks beautiful. I cant believe the views you had. Great shots!
