My husband and I won a raffle for a weekend trip to Paris. It was last weekend. We didn't get to chose the dates. We decided to go on Sunday the 20th. It was probably the worst weather in DLP history:goodvibes, oh well. We are not sure if we will ever get back so we made the most of it.

On first impression, the place is so pretty! If only there wasn't so much snow on the ground. I can't believe they don't shovel or plow. Here we start treating the roads before the storm so it isn't as bad.

We took the RER and it was fine. There was breakdown so we had to get off at an outside station and wait for another train.

We rode Space Mountain first-WOW! DL and WDW do not compare, this one was awesome! We then went to the Nautilus very cool! We knew a lot of rides were closed, but it seemed that very few were open. We made a quick trip to Starbucks in the village so we could do online check in, which we didn't end up doing. Oh well, at least DH got a good cup of coffee.

We went to the Studios and rode Rock and Roller coaster. Very little was open here, we didn't want to wait for Crush's ride, it was a 60 minute wait, I think everyone was in line for that because nothing else was open.

One thing we don't really have in the states is people smoking in line. There are certain areas where it is allowed.

After that quick visit we headed back to DL. We stopped at Main Street to make a lunch reservation for Plaza Gardens. Then we stopped so I could get a cup of coffee. It was good to sit and warm up! We milled about, went to see Mickey of course and enjoyed ourselves!

Lunch was at 2, we were seated right away. There was some confusion with our drinks, but once we found someone to ask it was fine. Again, French restaurants are not like America. But our servers work for tips so if the service isn't good no tip or very little.

The food was very good. Here at the buffets there are lots of Mickey shaped foods, I was so surprised that there wasn't anything there.

I was actually relieved when they decided to close the park at 6 instead of 8. I wasn't leaving without seeing dreams! What a SHOW! I loved World of Color and Dreams made the trip worthwhile! It was so GREAT!!!

Sounds like you had a fun time, despite the weather. :goodvibes

Sounds like a good trip despite the snow and ride closures! Glad you liked Dreams - it really is a fantastic show! :)
