An A&E Fastpass Discussion

I recently watched a youtube video about how to get a fastpass for A&E and the person in there suggested making two different reservations in case you don't like the picture from the first one, etc. I also read a post where someone had four different times. I'm wondering where common courtesy comes into play. With the difficulty in seeing A&E, why would you take away a possible experience from someone else? Am I missing why you need to see them multiple times in one trip? I'm thankful that this is not our first trip to WDW because we are probably going to end up in the standby line. Thanks for letting me vent.

agree with the OPer's sentiments. So what is the status of A&E fast passes? Do they have stand-by lines or are they still doing the fast pass- system of handing out paper fast passes at rope drop? There are a bunch of people really sad about not getting to see A&E, hopefully stand-by is still possible.

I said this in another thread about A&E and while I consider myself courteous we have multiple A&E reservations. I feel like there is no one to blame but Disney on this one. IMO FP+ and having to 'plan' where I am going to be in a park on a given day at a given time 2 months ahead of time is too much. Therefore, when I hit our 60 day mark at midnight, every day that I thought we might be at MK I got 2 FP+...A&E and SDMT. The 3rd FP is just a random other ride/parade. I really have no idea what we are going to want to do until we get there. We also have a 1 year old...if she is sleeping/fussy/etc. I am not dragging her into the park or waking her up to make a FP+ reservation and as most people know, A&E are hard to shift around.

If we get to do our M&G on the first day I have FP+ times, then I will get rid of the rest and be done with it but I'm not going to miss out on the most popular M&G and miss getting pics of our daughter with them because I picked a day/time when she was tired/fussy/sleeping/etc. 60 days prior.
