Thanks ladies!
I have done great with food today. I have had a migraine all day. I know, I am falling apart, I guess I am old! Actually, I have been keeping track of my migraines per doctor's advice and I notice they come about every four weeks or so. For years I got them alongside my TOM and now that I am I think (I hope lol) done with that, I am still getting the migraines. I guess that is the lone holdhout with my hormones.

I am pretty sure its been since about July that I had an honest to goodness period, but apparently the migraines aren't going away too! So I didn't go to the gym, but I did do WATP which is a great alternative for those days when I don't feel like an out of the house workout.
The headache is better. Right now Dan is on his way home and bringing him and me Tokyo Joes since we have a free bowl (love their frequent purchase card) and its healhty!
I am a bit nervous, I let ds take a ride with an older friend to a meeting tonight. This is only the second time I have let him ride with a teen. I have met the boy and he's very nice and very responsible but I am still a bit nervous. But dd has church and Dan says he thinks its fine. But moms worry. Life was simpler when my kids were littler in so many ways!
The meeting is for a Search and Rescue group through the Fire Department. Ds was referred to this by one of the Sheriffs he knows through that program and said the Marines love that sort of thing so of course, that was all ds needed to hear! They do have a strict g.p.a. thing so that will keep him hitting those books!
And speaking of that, when one of his teachers found out ds wants to go into the Marines right away after high school, he told him not to worry about taking a foreign language or going above geometry. I mean wth? Kids have been known to change their minds and I would think a teacher would tell him to work hard and take classes that give him plenty of options. Besides, ds has said all along he will do Marines for four years then go to college. Just what I need somebody to demotivate my kid who will gladly slack off in school any chance he gets!
Amy: I have bought that same brownie mix many times. Its nice to have on hand since I frequently learn last minute from my kids they need to bring something to an event, but I am telling you, I always know its there! Waiting for me to mix up and eat baked or not baked! Dan gets the weight thing to a point since his dad had a weight problem his whole life and I was 175 pounds the day he met me and about that when we got married. But what was good about his stepping on the scale is that for the first time in 42 years, he understood what its like to be on a "diet" and have your behavior bite you in the butt! I had to laugh.
Tracy: Dare I read your journal and see if you got more snow you poor thing!
Lisa: I need a break area to place any baked goods that make their way into my house!
