Good morning WISHERS! I am officially home

. We had such a wonderful time on the cruise. I wish they weren't so darn expensive, I would have booked another one right on the ship! Its nice to be home and have a bit more room to spread out in however. I did AWFUL with my food. I mean I could have done worse I guess but not by much. I ate what I wanted, when I wanted and I ate three meals a day. Breakfast was always hot cereal, bacon, fruit and some eggs. Lunch was whatever I could cram down my throat and dinner was the usual cruise line food fest. Our server Mladdin was so great and he would always bring extra desserts. Hey, I couldn't disappoint him right? I capped off the whole thing with Burger King at the airport yesterday afternoon. I tried to exercise some. I enjoyed walking on Deck 4 but the joggers seemed to get very annoyed when the walkers were blocking their path. I also had at least two cocktails each day but tried to drink plenty of water. I don't even feel the slightest bit guilty since I had so much fun, it was worth it! The scale says I am up 8 pounds, hopefully just eating normal for the next several days will help that number go down a bit. Today is my daughter's birthday so I know I'll have a piece of cake and some other goodies. But at least it won't be three full meals with dessert and bacon thrown in the mix!
Here was my exercise:
Friday, September 1: 15 minutes walking at CSR, 15 minutes swimming
Saturday, September 2: Sail Away Party. I am counting 15 minutes because I was out there dancing like a moron with my husband and kids and it was like aerobics. It was also hot as you know what so I seriously sweated a bunch! They had us dancing and hopping up and down for quite awhile. I didn't time it but I think 15 minutes is safe.
Sunday September 3: 10 minute walk on Deck 4. Quit early, was tired of Mr. Hostile Jogger yelling at me to move. He also yelled at some poor little old couple out walking with their walkers and granddaughter. What a charmer. Guess I should haved played Jesus and walked on water off the deck to make room for him. What a jerk and every time I tried to walk on that deck from then on out there he was. This guy probably lost 30 pounds on the cruise. I also saw him on the elevator one night when I was carrying up a big plate of fries to our stateroom and he gave me the most disgusted look. I felt like a fat piece of trash. Naturally he was all sweaty from his most recent run. Oh well, maybe next cruise I'll be the one jogging!
Monday, September 4: 30 minutes on Deck 4. Took my husband with me this time so that if Mr. Jogger was there he could yell back at him. Luckily he didn't show up til we were done.
Wednesday: Did 30 minutes of swimming and snorkling with Matthew at Magens Bay in St. Thomas. The water was so calm I actually was able to swim laps for around 15 minutes.
Friday: Swam and snorkeled for 30 minutes on
Castaway Cay. Also did about 10 minutes of walking to explore things a bit.
So that adds up to 125 minutes of exercise. Not nearly as much as I was hoping. I was hoping to walk 30 minutes each day. Oh well, I'll be cranking to make my challenge but its only the 10th so I have 20 days left to make it. Too bad I can't count all my trips up the buffet at Topsiders. I probably did do 30 minutes a day walking up that line!
I will try to catch up with journals today or tomorrow. Right now its major laundry time and the family is coming over for dd's birthday. Hope you all are doing well, thanks for reading!
Tracey: Cornonado Springs is wonderful. Totally different than ASMO. No Disney feel to it but its lush and wonderful with a ton of quiet pools a really nice playground. Its a convention resort so it just has a totally different feel. Its very quiet and low key and its a nice location. It feels very resortish, there's a ton to do there and it also has a full service salon right there if that interests you. I think you can't go wrong with whatever you decide!
