Did you watch Saturday Night Live last week? They had a Biker Girl sketch where every other word was "fricken" - only one time a cast member actually dropped the F bomb.

No, I didn't see it. But I did see the Yahoo headline about the slipup. Wouldn't really bother me, as it's not prime time.

You're probably right, I think I remember someone saying on a previous cycle that he is married to a model.

ETA: In regards to SNL, yes, they really did let loose with the F bomb.

I don't trust the pictures though since Tyra hand picks them. You never know if the picture shown is truly the best picture or not. We only see what they want us to see.

I totally agree, There are times that Jay Manuel raves about a girl's performance on set, and says how great the pics are, but then at panel the picture chosen is horrible. I think the pictures chosen are manipulated to reflect who Tyra wants to leave that night.

I agree with a previous poster that Tyra is only keeping Ashley around because she "discovered" her. I would have been happy with either Ashley or Bianca going home. Neither one has been taking good pictures.

There has been proof that Tyra does NOT choose the best picture.

I'm not sure if you remember Kelle in Cycle 3. This is the picture Tyra chose for her on one photoshoot:

But when Jay was going through the photos of her, they showed this one on the screen for THREE WHOLE SECONDS!

So, I guess that pretty much proves that Tyra doesn't choose the best shots. It happened other times with that same girl, Kelle. I feel so sorry for her! They showed (on multiple shoots) MUCH better shots when Jay was looking through them, but Tyra wanted a story line... sigh.

But that second shot isn't really that much better. At first glance it looks better and her eyes are better in that one, but her hand, mouth, and how she's leaning her head forward so she has no neck all would've been mentioned as negatives at panel. I think sometimes it's a close call with which picture to choose, because there are times when one judge loves a picture and another doesn't like it at all. There's a point where it's definitely a matter of opinion.

Actually she is both. Nigel has talked about her being a model as well as a make-up artist, so i guess being on the Cover Girl episode is appropriate.

Most model's careers are quite short, so it makes sense that Nigel's wife has done something after modeling.

I totally agree about the "best" shots...Mr. Jay will talk about how fabulous a shoot was , then the photo chosen will be terrible and the girl will be sent packing.

I think the second picture is horrible, I actually prefer the first one.

Well, I am glad Ashley is gone. She is very pretty but you could tell she did not know how to model. It was not her passion and it comes thru on her pics.

Plus with the dance challenge she just did not understand how awful she was. That was part of her problem as well. Instead of examining what she did wrong, she slammed the other girls. Her tunnel vision was probably what sent her packing. You have to improve yourself, not focus on others.

Nicole appears to have something wrong with her. Very odd for her to say she cannot remember things.

Not sure who I really like to be honest, except for the Kentucky gal.

Laura is my favorite, too.

For the most part, it's a house full of unlikable girls. Usually there is one girl put into the house to add drama and the rest are okay. This year, most don't like each other and aren't likable.

I agree

The girls I like are Laura, Rae, and Sundai. The rest I could take or leave.

It kind of bothers me when girls are on the show that were "recruited" and have never had a strong desire to model (like Elyse from cycle 1 or Sara from cycle 6 who was found in a mall), because most of them are really serious about modeling and I think that those are the girls who should go farther. So I was glad to see Ashley go. Her having no practice modeling is what really hurt her.

I was surprised at how early Nicole was called. I would have thought with how much screen time she was getting this episode and all the negative comments she got at panel that she would've been in the bottom 2 for sure.

After all Tyra said about who was the best in the group and who took the group down, and about how Sundai had the best film by far but she had to choose a lesser shot of Sundai so she could get the one good shot of Nicole...then she called Nicole before Sundai because that one isolated shot of Nicole was better...made zero sense.

I think out of all of them, Nicole looks the most like a "real model." She comes across as tall and she has that kind of oddly pretty look.

Sundai was gorgeous before her makeover, but her new hair makes her seem like an average teenager at the mall, and she always looks short in her photos.

I like Laura personality-wise, but I don't think she really has the body/build for runway work.

I was hoping for Laura to get first call-out...of course, they did "best group shot", but if they had been doing individually, I think she would've gotten first call-out. From casterating cows to possibly a top model? Hmmm...

We hardly saw Erin, Brittany, and Rae this episode. Or Sundai! It was all Ashley and Nicole. :confused1

Next week's episode looks interesting; the superhero photoshoot (cycle 5) meets the warriors photoshoot (cycle 9)?
