I was hoping for Laura to get first call-out...of course, they did "best group shot", but if they had been doing individually, I think she would've gotten first call-out. From casterating cows to possibly a top model? Hmmm...

We hardly saw Erin, Brittany, and Rae this episode. Or Sundai! It was all Ashley and Nicole. :confused1

Next week's episode looks interesting; the superhero photoshoot (cycle 5) meets the warriors photoshoot (cycle 9)?

I've already seen the shots, through a site that has mega spoilers. I'll put my opinion of the shots in white.

Laura and Nicole both did amazingly well. They rocked it, it's about damn time one of them gets an FCO. Sundai was pretty bad, but she did well this week, so she might be safe. Jennifer is meh, but Tyty loves her. Kara has to go on this one, she's been mediocre most of the competition, and this is definitely the second worst. Rae's are good, but not very memorable. Erin's are HELLA photoshopped, she doesn't even look a bit like Lara, and that annoys me, because it would have been perfect for this. Anyways, Brittany did the worst, IMO. She might go, I mean she's had maybe 1 good photo, her photos this week were EXTREMELY bland. I think she should go home soon, even though she has potential. I'll take her over Kara though.

Also, the girls each have THREE best shots this week.

So far I don't think Tyra's sent anyone home who deserved stay more than another week, which is good - love that countrygirl Laura, I hope Nicole does well too, some of the other models are good in a pretty, cute way but I'd expect to see them in lipgloss adds in teen magazines, not editorials in high fashion magazines.

It was definately Kara's time to go. Her pictures had gotten progressively worse. At least the one's we were shown.

Yeah, none of these girls will be the next Kate Moss, Devon Aoki, Lydia Hearst, Sasha Pivovarova, Anna Selezneva, or Julia Hafstrom.

I guess Nicole has a slight chance, but it's probably not going to happen. A lot of girls' careers have been hindered or ruined by ANTM.

Kara went home because she was hating on Nicole. As an "artist" you cannot let that negative energy flow thru. I think it affects your work.

I hope Sundae figures out that she has to let hate go and instead focus on herself.

That episode was really shocking!

To me it looked like Erin thought she was going to go in there, say her lines, and do great. However she did not count on flubbing her lines and then getting flustered. She just did not put the work into that challenge. Big mistake on her part. I also think she is not counting on others doing very well. She is a little naive there.

Very, very surprised at the ease of Jennifer's commercial.

Even though Laura stunk, she acted in a professional manner and worked it with Nigel.

Did you hear Kim Kardashin call Nicole "model geek" or something like that? Nicole seems to be coming out of her shell. I think partly because some of the negative models are not there. They really did put a negative vibe on that house.

And Erin is falling prey to that curse. Negative energy outward is not going to show up well in your modeling.

I could just tell by the editing of the episode that Rae would go home instead of Erin. And Tyra's critique of Erin's commercial was bizarre - she just talked about how she needs to keep her chin down for a live action camera..hello! what about the non-stop sobbing? (I admit that my D's and I howled with laughter when Erin finished her commerical with that tearful sniff..."easy breezy beautiful Cover Girl sniff ")

I was impressed with Laura's attitude.

When are they going to travel?! I thought sure that once they were down to the final 6 they would announce their trip.

Kim called Nicole Geek Chic..lol I loved it! I am a huge Nicole fan I also adore Laura. Was a bit sad Rae left, she was one of my favs at the beginning but she was kind of forgetable.

Yea, it was sad Rae left however it was true because I never paid attention to her.

Ohh, where to begin with last night's episode?

Jennifer-glad to see her get first call-out! She's getting back on my good side.
Erin-or should I have said ""? SO unprofessional. So terrible. She has no personality, too.
Sundai-interesting commercial. Still, Tyra did have a point when she said that Sundai "rolls with the punches" (when she and Miss J were making fun of her commerical. Professional of her)
Brittany-I can never remember her! When I see each new episode, I'm always like "OH, Brittany, yes," because I can never remember her name or her face-personality lacks.
Rae-sort of sad to see her go, but you could tell that it was coming.
Laura-I adore her! She took gorgeous pics last week, and she just seems so sweet. (Anyone else think that her Grandma Wanda Sue can make some really nice clothes?)
And finally, Nicole-my personal favorite. Her face, hair, and personality reminds me EXACTLY of a good friend of mine from dance class. I like her a lot; hope to see her get further.

Next week's episode sounds interesting. (but Tyra, PLEASE stop with the corny, stupid things! "The house is condemned, so we're moving you tooooooo *drumroll, yell out name of destination while girls scream excitedly and loudly*)

The Curse of Nicole knocks down yet another contestant. Who will be next?

At the final four there will be a double elimination. The finale will have 2 girls instead of 3. It is unknown how many girls will do the final covergirl commercial.

The editing always makes it so obvious who will be going home. Within the first 10 minutes of the show I tell my DD who will be eliminated and I'm almost always right. If I'm not, then the person is at least in the bottom 2. I don't know why they make is to obvious.

I thought that Sundai should be in the bottom two and was not happy at first that Brittany? was the one chosen to go home. But after they went through her pictures at the end, was satisfied with the decision.

It's so sad that I can't remember most of their names. Really liked Nicole and Jennifer's (the one with the necklace) pictures.

I agree. Nicole has the "it" factor in the pictures and it is really obvious. However, I just love Laura's personality and hope she makes it to the final two. It is not looking good for her next week in the underwater pictures.
