We were able to catch a performance of American Vybe at the America Gardens Theater on Sunday, June 20. They were FANTASTIC!!! We enjoyed the show so much that as soon as it was over we went to the shop next to American Adventure and bought the CD. We were actually able to hear them twice that night because we found spot for Illuminations between America and Italy and were able to hear the next performance while waiting for Illuminations. I highly recommend making time to catch one of their shows. ::yes::

I would like to hear more about this show...what type music IS it?

I absolutely LOVE all the offerings at Epcot -- this trip I want to be sure to catch things I haven't on the previous 3 trips -- I want to see the candy-making lady in Japan, and the American show and things like that.

Could you tell me a bit about it?

And Robert, what did you NOT like about it?

Thanks for the input!!!

My dd and I always try to see/hear at least one of their shows. We love to sit right up in the front, on the floor and sing along. We also bought their CD. We just love it!!!

I too love them and I have there CD much to my familys dismay!

This show is a tribute to American music. It has gospel, jazz, R&B, and swing. American Vybe is a group of young people with some fantastic voices! If you are into the American music scene, especially old favorites, you'll enjoy the show.

Also make sure to see Voices of Liberty. Both groups are superb! I get chills every time I hear them.

When I was there in May for my honeymoon my husband and I caught their show. We got set up by the CM at the door he asked us if we had gotten married there ( I had on my home made minnie bridal headband) and he also asked us our names. When the American Vybe first came out I reconized the blonde performer Jennifer, she used to be on The New Mickey Mouse Club from the late 80's. Then after they performed a couple of songs they announced that there was a newly wed couple and they pulled us up with them and they were dancing with us and singing to us. I wanted to get their CD but I forgot to go back to the little shop the next time we went to Epcot during our stay. I am going to get my Parent to pick it up for me when they go in August. I thought that American Vybe were AWSOME!!!

I love American Vybe. They are so much fun to watch. When I saw them back in December, they did "Santa Baby" and they pulled some guy out of the audience to dance with them. When I was there last month, one of the guys grabbed my hand and sang to me. I never miss them.

Unfortunately, we missed Voices of Liberty. I also really enjoy them. The other family we were with isn't too in to all that, so we had to pick and choose what to do. In December, I plan to arrange my schedule to hear VOL, too.

I have not yet heard "Vybe" but the Voices of Liberty are amazing! As a music teacher, I can vouch for their world class polish and talent!:hyper:
