I just read in this week's PEOPLE magazine that even though Corey Clark was booted from the competition, he still had signed a contract, and that means he could tour with the rest of the finalists when they go on their singing tour.

MAMAJAON-i agree with you on everything....and COOKIEGVB....I AGREE WITH YOU TOO, CLAY AND RUBEN ARE THE TOP 2. i'm really hoping CLAY will show more styles, hes awesome but too simular week after week... I love Clay, but am beginning to agree that he may not be right for this competition. He has a big time future, maybe Broadway is right for him.

I missed seeing Ruben out of his 205 clothes? Hope he continues that trend.

So glad to hear Josh did well. I like him alot, but he stumbled last week. Also agree that he will get a contract as a country singer if AI is not right for him.

From the beginning auditions, I liked Kim C. I still think she is talented, but she has not stepped up like some of the others.

If I had thought of it sooner we should have started a "DAWG" counter.
I know we can count how many times he says it in a show.
We should have had a count for Ruben,,how many consecutive nights he wore THAT shirt. hmm..wonder if he'll wear it tonight. What's everyones bet, I bet YES!

Extra special welcome to Popsicle and taylor1293, newcomers to this board or thread. Popsicle, I know what you mean about other boards. I had found a Survivor message board only to find the language and posts were really obscene and off-putting. The DIS is a nice friendly place (usually). And, taylor1293, I lurked for a long time before I started really posting, so post away!

That said, Ruben did NOT blow me away last night, I thought his song was nice, but not exceptional and I'm a big fan or his and of the song he did. He (and Clay) are becoming a little repetitive in their style and need to stretch their vocals and performances a bit.

Josh performed well and I thought Ricky handled himself well. Kimberly L did not hit Celine's notes so in comparison was credible, not great. I thought Trenyce was much improved, but folks still don't seem to like her. Kimberly C tried something new, but it did not work and Carmen fell flat. Bottom 3 should be Carmen, Kimberly C and Trenyce with Carmen going. But I'm wrong every week!

I have to agree that Clay should be right at home on a Broadway stage. He really needs some stage direction. I know how hard it is to move and sing at the same time, but you have to in this competition. Reuben just plain rocks. I could just sit and listen to him all night. Now, maybe that doesn't make him an AI (I am 53 after all!!), but he sure can sing. I don't really care for any of the ladies Kim L is okay but not star material, imho. And Ricky, although I like him as a person, I'm just not crazy about his vocals. Those high notes are starting to get to me. And my favorite has been Josh. But, I don't think he'll make it to the final two. If I was into country, which I'm not, he would be 'da bomb' as my dd puts it. So, I think the bottom three will be.....Carmen, Ricky, and Trenyce. But, I've been wrong consistently so far!!!

Rueben has a beautiful voice but I agree with other Disers.....he needs to try a different type of song.

I think Carmen will go tonight (I least I hope so). I really don't like that yoddling singing she does, it's like nails on a chalkboard. I don't know what Simon was thinking when he picked her as his wildcard choice and I think he's wondering the same thing.

I *finally* got an answer about that whole recap thing! The recaps they use at the end of the show are from the dress rehersals, not the actual show. No wonder they always seem to sound a bit different!

Anyway, I hope that Goat Girl Carmen goes tonight. I'm guessing that she, Trenyce, and either Ricky or Kim C will be in the bottom 3. I really don't want Ricky to go- even though he hasn't been outstanding, he really TRIES every week, and does something different.

Do you guys think the judges hear something different then what we hear on the TV? I thought Kim L. was off tune and awful with that Celine DIon song- and they all seemed to love it?!?!? I also thought once they called the last 3 down that Kim C. would be the one to go because they were combining last weeks votes with this weeks. But, maybe they didn't do that because they never really said anything tonight about it did they?
My top 3- RUben, Clay and Josh. I agree- no girls allowed!

I am hopping in here too, I am addicted to this program..... I am little tired of Clay lately.. his voice is great but the batting of the eyes is starting to wear on me.. I do like his voice though... I did vote the other night.. I am a Josh fan, although I am not into country music, he just touches my heart, married with a baby and a Marine with a very good voice, , then Ruben and then Clay........they juggle every week depending on how they sing.. I do like the non blonde Kimberly, I think she does have an incredible talent .. the blonde Kimberly bombed this week, I think, has great stage presence, but not a great voice... and the yodeling Carmen is driving me nuts.. I also think with the proper training Trenyce could be really special, she is talented as well..

Why am I watching this program??????between that and Survivor, I think I am losing it..
