American Idol!!

Anyone else enjoying this show?? I think these kids have great talent!! Nikki was great last night that kind of music is perfect for her!!
I still love Kelly I think her voice is incredible!!! She reminds me of a Judy Garland type voice (very strong)
THe other two are great talents also but Kelly is my fave to win.
How about you?

I actually voted FOR Nikki last night, but you watch, she will be voted OFF tonight! Justin was OK, but that MJ song he sang was BLAH!

I thought Nikki stank like she always does. I just don't understand how she got this far, but that is MHO. I would love for Kelly to win she seems to be the most consistent, if she doesn't win I want Justin to win, Tamyra has way to much attitude.

Tamyra and Nikki have star quality
personalities. Justin is totally boring
but young girls think he's cute-B-O-R-I-N-G!!
Kelly has an amazing voice but she
loses me each time because she does
not know how to move. Last night when
she sang "It's Raining Men!" I wanted SOOOO
much for her to put her soul into it. The
voice is there but she does not have a
star quality, IMHO. Tamyra has incredible
soul and star quality, even Burt Bachrach
loved her and that's quite an endorsement!
Nikki needs to unleash her voice-she's
still holding back and she could do so much
more. Justin should go home tonight IMHO
and next Nikki, if she doesn't stop being so
timid. Kelly and Tamyra are both good but
Kelly has no style, she just stands there
-so Tamyra is my pick to win. That's how I
see it and I'm stickin' to it!

I think this is a really interesting show. I have enjoyed it a great deal thus far. Tamyra has all 3 judges on her side to win... I am just not sure what I think about her.....
I agree with you mimi... I think Kelly has an amazing voice, she needs to work on her stage presence, Raining Men would of been fabulous had she just moved with it, Nikki also has an amazing voice, she is gorgeous, I would love to hear her belt out a Bonnie Raitte tune.. her voice would suit it so well. Justin is a cute boy, I think he has talent for ballads and love songs..

I think it will be btwn Kelly and Tamyra..

I'm going with Kelly for the win. I think she does a great job on stage and has star quality. Tamyra's movement seems awkward. They both have awesome voices. Niki was better than usual, but should go this week. Justin is good when he does ballads but I think his dance moves are weird.

I watch this every Tues. and Wed with DD10. We both want Tamyra to win , but I think Kelli is very talented. I think Justin is good, but the 3 girls are better. Should be interesting when it gets down to the final 2!

Have to admit, I'm loving the show. I think it's the most fun show to watch in this rerun season. Here's my two cents on the remaining contestants:
Justin is a load. I hope he and his ridculous Shirley Temple locks get the boot tonight.
I love Nikki, but she's clearly just a rock singer - not a bad thing at all - but her lack of versatility will cost her this title. But I certainly can see a rock star future for her.
Kelly has an amazing voice, and she's coming on stronger every week. A real pleasure to listen to. I definitely see a recording contract in her future. Could take the title.
Tamyra is a natural! Far more polished than the others. She's ready for Broadway NOW. Should win easily.

I actually thought Nikki was better than she has been. I always vot for Kelly, have since the beginning. Her and Christina were my favs. I have a cell phone too, and vote 2 min before the end of the show, and I get thru each time.

They voted TAMYRA OFF!!! WOW I am in SHOCK! But, I believe she is going to be cutting an Album SOON, if Paula and Randy Jackson have thier way! They did a nice hits of Paula Abdul in the begininng.

I am with you poohbear - this proves that people are not voting on the performances, but for other extraneous reasons. I am in total shock! I'm really irritated that Nikki is still in the competition, as I don't think she's a very good singer at all. Based on last night's performances, the bottom two singers should have been Justin and Nikki. Once again, the outcome of this show proves that people can't be trusted to vote honestly and with integrity. I received three emails today from various newspapers and entertainment publications which highlighted the fact that they the producers are worried because the votes have been skewed in such a big way. Hopefully Fox will charge viewers the next time so that only serious people who actually value the performances will vote. Despite the fact that Tamyra was just voted off, I think that she'll do well in the music business, and I for one will definitely purchase her first album.

in their numbers again! It is just too embarrasing!
I just started watching 2 weeks
ago and they have stripped the show of any
validity it may have had. Justin-no special talent but
cute, gets to stay? Certainly, the TV audience has no
clue about performance and the young women of the
U.S. need a wake up call if they think it's good to
vote for someone just because they are cute-he's not
THAT cute ladies. Well, Tamyra will get her recording
contract and will have people fighting over her. The
winner-unless it's Nikki-will fulfill their contract and
after that one flash in the pan-will be gone from the
limelight. Justin might get a job starring in some 1/2
season sitcom that doesn't make it. Kelly will end up
a weather girl on an L.A. TV station. ah-justice. Nikki
will end up singing with Melissa Ethridge or backup
to James Taylor or someone equally cool.

P.S. Coyote- Nikki is not straining to hit those notes-
she's holding back. She has a big voice and she's
obviously been coached to control it. I trained for 13
years as an operatic/jazz and rock singer. She could
hit those notes, believe me; I hear them in her. It's not
that important though, the voters haven't a clue
as to who is the better singer. They are voting for some
cute boy with good teeth.

Ok now I'm upset. Tamyra wasn't my favorite but she definately was a heck of alot better than Nikki. Yes Nikki did better last night, but I still think she sounds like a karaoke (sp) singer. No way is she as good as Tamyra. I did hear on the TV that there is a clause in their contracts to where the producers can make it where the rules can change and the public won't be able to vote on who wins. OH well guess my votes will be for Kelly and Justin next week.

I just visited the American Idol Message Board on Fox, and people are livid! Many people say that they are going to write to the producers and will not watch the show any longer. I wish that those of us in Canada could vote because then at least we'd feel as if we had done our part somehow. Like I said, these results are a good indication of how dishonest the American voting public is. The producers should be really worried about the future of their show since the best talent is not guaranteed to win. What does this say about who America wants as their American Idol?
