I don't either, I never understood his appeal. I mean he always looked like he was having a ball up on stage but I was never super impressed with him.

I really liked Taylor during his season but not enough to buy any of his music. I thought his version of Elvis' In the Ghetto was one of the best songs on Idol. Personally, it was probably number 6 or 7 on my Top 5 list.


Based on his performance tonight, I could see him having a decent following in smaller venues. He's got a good bluesy, Memphis vibe.

Honestly, I don't think Adam has the mainstream appeal that a lot of people think he does. I don't think *that* many people are watching this show just for Adam. It's always been a huge show, not one contestant has ever determined the ratings.

And look at who's on right now...he WON the show.

I saw him last summer in Grease on Broadway. He was the best part of the show. When I was waiting to get in the door for the show, he walked by and said "excuse me" so he could get to the stage door. Some stage hands were laughing because they said no one recognized him, "well except for her". I had turned beet red. lol!
