Hey guys! We're back from a WONDERFUL trip! This was by far the best one ever.

I'm so glad it was good, because I came back to some bad news at home. Well good and bad....

First the good... I don't have to have surgery after all! This was a SHOCK to me. I didn't even think not having it was an option. But, she said that the one I had back in October fixed me.

Then for the bad (actually horrible) news. My mom was diagnosed on Monday with advanced breast cancer. We didn't have any warning, so we are not dealing with this very well. It has spread to her lymph nodes. She had a PET scan and biopsy yesterday. On Monday we will find out staging and treatment options. Say a prayer for us if you can.

Wow, I am so sorry.... your family will be in my prayers.

The tornado warning is now here in Ga, around me but not in my exact area. It sounds HORRIBLE outside. Signing off....

WOW! I can't even imagine having to deal with that damage. I watched the video clip too and I was at the cars that were stopping and/or slowing down...I'd be speeding away from the area as fast as I could if I thought it was coming towards me

SO... after all that, it took me a while to catch up with AI. But, I'm pretty happy with the vote-outs over the last 3 weeks. I was bummed that my DVR cut out before Adam sang this week. I have it set to run long, but for some reason it didn't. I hope I can find it on line somewhere. I hate to miss a minute of Adam.

I'm home there is no damage to my place. I did see some damage coming home though. I have power, cable, and internet so I'm good now I'm waiting to find out about school.

Thanks for the article... I liked it. Somehow I thought Adam was "out" .

Gone for a day and there's so much sad news.

TruBlu: The very word "cancer" sends a cold shiver down my spine - always has. However, I know it is not the death sentence it used to be when I was growing up and I hope very much that there are treatment options for your Mom. Please keep us posted and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I saw some of the tornado damage on CNN last night and it's almost unimaginable to me the kinds of winds it would take to tear a house apart. I've never seen a tornado and I admire the bravery of all of you who live in that area and probably go through this many times.

Thanks for the very interesting link to the New York Times article. Some of the latest pictures surfacing from the Burning Man Festival and the "Goth type" ones in Star Magazine this week (you can see them here - http://www.blueblood.net/gallery/adam-lambert/ ) are quite "out there". I'll admit. I imagine it will get the "Pray for Adam's soul Brigade" whipped up into a real frenzy of praying.

We actually had to drive by some of the damage to get out of town and I feel so blessed. Highway 96 is the main road off where I live, the road to the right, I live on the left road is where the tornado hit and the houses are totaled. Had the storm not turned it would of hit where it did, it would of came to the left and the left side would of hit hard. I am counting my blessings right now but we're getting hit again tomorrow night with bad storms. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers, damage is so bad. They confirmed at least 3 touchdowns with a possible of 5 touchdowns, with the category of EF3 with 150mph winds.
