Take a look at all of the idol forums around the internet and you will see that Danny has so little interest and most of the interest there is not positive interest. It actually is more of a surprise that he made it this far.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Kris win. He's got a ton of fans. Again...go check out the fansites.

I think this has been my favourite season so far.

If he had such a poor fan base how did he stay out of the bottom three the entire season??? I don't believe that for a minute. Danny has an amazing voice. That is how he made it through. Adam will win. Kris does not stand a chance. The winner was known the entire time. To bad Allison paid the price. She was also a great talent.

Worst finale ever in my opinion...I'm done voting. Thought I'd vote for Kris if Danny got voted off, don't think so anymore. Atleast now I won't have to listen to busy signals and "your call cannot be completed" messages.

Maybe some day some of you will realize Danny actually has talent. All I know is I can't wait for the tour to come here (it's going to be awesome just like the Summerfest concert) and I'll be looking forward to his first album. He definitely made Milwaukee proud.

I agree with Randy when he said that Kris' version was better than the original.

I have been so impressed with the artistry of Kris and Adam. I think that is what really separated the men from the boys this year. Like David Cook showed last year, just having a good voice no longer wins you the title. This is a great new trend and in the end is one of the major reasons that Danny lost out this week. You just can't continue to do copycat versions of the originals and win over the voting public. It really shows in the number of itunes downloads who the public is really supporting. Once the money comes out, everything changes.

I think if Danny would have made it through, then Adam would have won by a landslide but now I think Kris and Adam are really, really well matched to win the title.

I really like the way the final turned out. I like all 3 of them! And listen to the type of music each would sing. Danny was my pick in the very beginning. But I have to say he reminded me of a very polished Taylor Hicks. I loved Taylor but unfortunately he hasn't done very well outside of idol. Adam.....he can sing and in my opinion has one of the best voices I have heard in a long time. But I am not sure where he will fit in. I would love to hear him sing Queen. Kris.....talk about a dark horse coming in and swooping up the prize! Over the past few weeks I have just loved him! I think that he out of all of them is most current. Definately not the most talented. But he blends into todays music styles. Does he have the vocals of Danny and Adam, no not in my OPINION! But I think he could actually make some money.

The only way Kris is well matched with Adam is because the girls like him and he'll get their votes, there is no way he compares to Adam as far as singing talent. At this point I don't care who wins, Adam can really sing but he does screech too much, and Kris reminds me of the Jonas Brothers with his singing style, it makes me want to puke

I don't think that what's Ryan meant. I replayed it this morning and what he said was "1 million votes separating the top two tonight". I took that to mean that there was about a million vote difference between #1 and #2 not between whoever was #2 and Danny.

I think that what he was trying to say is that next week is going to be close and not to take anything for granted because the votes for the top two this week were so close.

Yes, we all have our own opinions.

I thought David Cook had an appeal WAY beyond his looks, Michael was my , Jason had the most beautiful eyes EVER , even little Archuleta was adorable.

I'm sure Kris has a following because he IS cute but he just doesn't appeal to me, that's my opinion. He reminds me of Cornelius from the Planet of the Apes. Even Cornelius has appeal to some people.

Like I said before, no one is right or wrong with their preferences, it's their own personal opinion and it's based on what's inside THEM.

Is it very different from The Fray's version? To me it sounded almost the same during the show.

They do this EVERY year. They tried to make us believe that the votes between Syesha (I know WHO?? ) and the Davids was close, TOO.

During the Taylor Hicks year they put up that the votes were 33/33/33 between Taylor, Kat McPhee and Elliott.

AI's people are marketing GENIUSES. They know what pulls the numbers. They need controversy and drama. A front runner who is OBVIOUS cannot bring the viewership they promised their advertisers and they know it.

I think that was wrong. I love Adam and I want him to win but I don't think that AI should have allowed that. I'm wondering if they knew about it ahead of time. I felt bad for Danny and Kris.

I love Kris! Whether he wins next week or not, he's going to have a great career. He's one of the most attractive male contestants on any season of AI.

Are you serious? I just can't get past the crooked smile, he looks like a little boy to me.

Actually, I think it was last week's performance, coupled with him not hitting a song "out of the park" Tuesday that did him in this week.

I don't know, at this point, I really don't think it matters how they do (unless they completely bomb). I think that everyone has picked their favorites and that's who they vote for regardless of their performance.

I can spot a teeny bopper singer a mile away. Know why? Because I DESPISE that type of music with every bone in my body (ala David A.) That said, I don't have Kris pegged as a boy band singer at all. If you listen to some of the contemporary pop singer/songwriters such as Jason Mraz, Ryan Adams, even John Maier, that is what I most compare Kris to.

This is the first year ever that I sincerely like both in the top 2. Adam is more talented vocally. But then again, Adam is more talented vocally than most other human beings! But I find Kris to be a great musician (separating him from the boy band crowd), and I think there is a valid place for him out there.

I don't agree w/ you. I'm 26 and LOVE Kris! I know a lot of other non-teeny boppers who love him too (including people on this board). We all voted like crazy for him! I think it's just a matter of preference.

I'm curious to see how the Danny votes split up. I keep thinking that they'd go to Kris b/c his style is closest to Danny. However, some Danny fans might blame Kris for Danny getting the boot. Should be interesting!
