When I said in the beginning that the show was fixed everyone jumped on me and said it wasn't. Now that Danny's gone, the show's fixed? I honestly do agree with you, but not because of Danny. It still goes back to Clay's season when he was NEVER in the bottom and blatantly had more talent AND fans, yet he somehow lost. His career soared afterward too so I mean, come on I LOVE Adam and think he's the most entertaining and talented contestant ever on the show so I don't mind the fixing this year But really, it says right at the end of the show that the producer's can do what they want. Talent show or not, it's still a SHOW. Even if the winner's career completely tanks, they're happy as long as they pull in the ratings

I think Adam has WAY more talent and stage presence than Kris, but I like them both. They're both current and will go far. I just find it hilarious, though, that all the Danny fans are now over-the-top bashing Adam and being really catty Maybe you should have voted more

I never thought the show was fixed and I still don't. Is it manipulated? Sure, first we hear the judges comments and you just know that some of those comments are done to get people to vote for a particular contestant. Put a top performer in the bottom 3 (maybe he votes were getting rather close) ohhh that will make people start voting more (which BTW probably increases what they get paid y the phone company). Adam and Kris..we assume Adam was top vote getter but Ryan never says that..just that he is in the final.




OK, I am not a fan of Adam but it has nothing to do with how he looks, I just don't like the type of music he does. I have said a number on times on here that I think he has a good voice and talent. I felt the same about Danny, but I also said that he was bad last week and I had to plug my ears. I actually thought that he should have gone last week. I have very slowly become a Kris fan. A few weeks back he replaced Danny as my top spot.

We all just need to remember that this is a TV show..if Adam wins I will still go to bed after the show is over, wake up in the morning and head off to work just like every other Thursday. My world will not change. Same thing if Kris wins. I'll be excited but in reality it means nothing since I don't know him and it really won't affect me at all. Husband, kids, house and work will all still be here the next day. And that is a good thing!

We already seen the Adam lovers talking about how boring Kris is. But Kris has built a fan base from absolutely nothing. Not a single pimp and in fact obvious kicked to the curb stuff from the judges. I mean to say this kid doesn't have talent is really bad.

Can't wait for the finale. I think it will be a better one than if Danny had been in it. Only because I do believe Kris has a better chance right now.

This Idol show was my last. All of my family agreed that if Danny left it's fixed. Now I believe. Like the DJ on the radio said we have know idea how the votes are counted and by who. The Show wanted Adam to win. Putting Kris in was a sure bet. Danny who has never been in the bottom goes home and Kris stays????? I wonder who is going to win next week???? Thanks but no thanks! They should have given the award tonight. We could skip all the corny dances and horrible live singers. I bet they will probably have Adam arrive by helicopter for his last performance.Simon did arrange it. I hope Kris is smart enough to know he is not going to win. Very bad season. I can only hope for next year. Good luck to Danny. He had a great voice. He won in my book!

Take a look at all of the idol forums around the internet and you will see that Danny has so little interest and most of the interest there is not positive interest. It actually is more of a surprise that he made it this far.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Kris win. He's got a ton of fans. Again...go check out the fansites.

I think this has been my favourite season so far.

Just finished watching my tivo'd Idol. I'm so sad to see Danny go. I personally think all 3 of them are wonderfully talented. I'm always a sucker for the underdog. I'm proud to see Danny doing so well after such tragedy in his life. I wish him all the best. I will be voting for Kris because he is so talented yet humble, although I think Adam is a great performer.

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? You need to take a deep breath and calm down No one said Kris doesn't have talent, he has lots of fans. I'm a big fan of both Adam and Kris - I would (and do) listen to both their types of music. They've all built fanbases from nothing - that's the point of the show! And how does it make sense for Kris to have a better chance over Adam than Danny when Adam got more votes than Danny? Either way, it'll be a fun finale.

Congratulations to Kris. He is a total cutie pie. I am happy he made it to the finals even if I didn't always get his music. I think Adam is far more talented and a way better performer then pretty much any we have seen on idol. I don't always like what he sings or how he sings it, like that mad world song and last nights interpretation of One, and also the aerosmith song. It just didn't do it for me. I am not even sure he would put out a record I would like. But he is the most talented far and away. Very versitile, great voice and range and great stage precense. I can't wait for the finale.

The only way Adam wins this is if the Danny voters give up. I seriously doubt any Danny voter is going to switch over to Adam. He isn't an aquired taste. You either love him or hate him (style not the man).

I have to disagree with you there. When this season first started, my DW and I were big fans of Danny and really didn't have a thought one way or the other about Adam. As the weeks went on and we saw Adam's versatility and his vocal talents (you can't deny the boy's got range and can hold a note forever!) we slowly became Adam fans. Also, as the time went by, we became tired with Danny and saw him as kind of a "one trick pony" and started seeing what (in our opinions) was a smugness about Danny that we didn't like.

It's all in the perception. To me the judges continually gave Danny a tongue bath each and every week. Even when he sounded the same, took zero chances, gave no creative effort and danced around like a drunk uncle at a BBQ, the judges loved him. I think the praising of him for sounding worse then the original got really old each and every week. They clearly wanted him to stick around.

That's how I saw it. You saw it completely differently. It is just a show after all.

I agree. I was floored after "the scream heard round the world" last week that the judges really didn't give him grief. They've been harsher to Kris on a GOOD day than they were to Danny after he laid that huge egg.

Actually, I think it was last week's performance, coupled with him not hitting a song "out of the park" Tuesday that did him in this week. I honestly think that if he had listened to Slash and not done Dream On the way he did, which essentially make himself the butt of every blogger and gossip show's joke this past week.. he probably would have made it to the top two.

Not denying though that Kris is on fire. Heck, I spent a good part of the night voting for him Tuesday!

It's "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard. It's from the movie "Once" and won the Oscar for best song from a movie a year or two ago. I LOVE that song! Kris' version was awesome, but nothing compares to the original. It's gorgeous

Wow.I'm in shock they voted Danny off.I was positive it would be a Danny and Adam showdown.Not Kris.
Oh well good luck to Kris and Adam.They both are very talented but I have to be honest I'm rooting for Adam.
Adam just has that natural star appeal.He's just a great performer and entertainer.

This is a SINGING contest, not a beauty pagent! Kris has the potential to be like a backstreet boy or an nsync type guy- the little girls love him but can't see him bridging that gap to become a real "star"

I agree wholeheartedly! Adam was lavished with praise only because he deserved it . Danny... Well, I don't know what the judges were listening to... He did sound the same every week, never changed up the songs (well, until the last couple weeks when he decided to try to be like Adam ), yet the judges constantly praised him. So, two different perpectives.

I can't remember one good looking guy in last years group- Castro was just dirty looking and David Cook looked like an alien. This years group was certainly nicer to look at though it is not a beauty contest.

Worst finale ever in my opinion...I'm done voting. Thought I'd vote for Kris if Danny got voted off, don't think so anymore. Atleast now I won't have to listen to busy signals and "your call cannot be completed" messages.

Maybe some day some of you will realize Danny actually has talent. All I know is I can't wait for the tour to come here (it's going to be awesome just like the Summerfest concert) and I'll be looking forward to his first album. He definitely made Milwaukee proud.
