David Cook- first song not that great, second song pretty good
Syesha-great on both songs. Really loved the second one!
Jason-horrible tonight
David A-first song good, but the second song made me want to beat my head against the wall. It was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am only voting for Syesha tonight.

Jason wasn't very good. I agree it seems like he has given up, but can you blame him?

LOVED David Cooks second song, but it was way too short. Why can't they give them more time at this stage of the competition??????? First song was just ok.....

I liked Sayesha's first song, but hated her second song. She is by far the most improved though and she looked gorgeous tonight.

I actually liked David A's first song a lot, and trust me I am not a fan......I didn't care for the Elvis song at all.

I really think the judges are setting up David A. to win so that David C. doesn't get stuck in that awful contract

I know we always complain about this but I wish we could be mind readers...

the judges wished David C would change his song a bit for his first song... Syesha was told she shouldn't have changed it.

David A was not blasted for singing Elvis but praised because he is the best and crushes the compitition and Jason is slammed for singing Bob Marley.

Granted Jason didn't have a great night but still how are they suppost to know except David A he can do no wrong and I am so sick of his expressions as they are falling all over him... only 17, what a voice blah blah blah

And I about lost it with David C song choices... Duran Duran was my high school crush band so having him sing them was heaven And I loved the Who in grade school! I will download those...

i like jason, but after tonight i think he will go home next. then Seisha, i really like her , but i think randy said a while back She would be good in shows,broadway,etc.i agree with that . i like both Davids, i think they will be the last two. yep David A. has a hug following...........

So David Cook's was a little bit too much of an imitation of Duran Duran, but Syesha puts on a mini-Tina Turner review, complete with copied dance steps and THAT'S wonderful???

Syesha's voice is fine and she's pretty, but I always feel that her best performances are when she is imitating someone else. In other words......ACTING. I halfway expected fake-Ike to come out and take a swing at her.

I cracked up when Syesha made the comment about looking in the mirror and telling herself to go for it. She didn't just tell herself to go for it, she had to look in the mirror at herself to do it. I told DH, "I get the feeling she looks in the mirror an awful lot of the time..."

It's not that I dislike the girl, but I am 100% certain she practices every facial nuance and body movement repeatedly in front of a mirror. That's why she belongs on Broadway and not touring as a singer.

I don't think Jason was blasted for singing Bob Marley, but for singing Bob Marley while SUCKING all the oxygen from the arena! Man, that was BAD! He is so very pretty but I'm not sure that'll be enough to get him through this week.
I was actually very disappointed in this weeks songs in general. For once, they had a great theme and no has-been "mentor" to play up to and yet these are the best songs they could come up with?

For the first time this season, DialIdol's prediction is a single singer (to be eliminated). Also, I'm not sure if it is the first time this season or not, but DialIdol's prediction for who received the most votes is also a single singer, this week.

Well, for Rock N Roll Hall of Fame week I thought it was a little disappointing. I like Syesha's first song, David Cook's second and David Archuletta's second.
But the most UN FORGETTABLE (sorry, I couldn't resist ) performance had to be Jason mouthing "DON'T VOTE" to the camera while Ryan gave his numbers. My husband asked, "Did he just say DON'T VOTE?" So we watched it again...and again... and again. We both swear he was saying DON'T VOTE! I'm surprised no one else has commented on it. My husband says he read an interview with Jason where he said he finds this whole experience pretty creepy. Definitely came off as he didn't want to do it anymore. I think his wish will be granted.

He was saying, "Vote! Vote!" I watched it back several times.

I loved both of David Cook's performances. I've never liked Duran Duran, but he made that song sound good.

I hope Dial Idol is right. Jason needs to go home.

YES!!

DH & I sat here trying to figure out why they didn't bash her for her "Tina review"! It was so obvious - right down to the dress!

The judges are always contradicting themselves - telling singers to put their own spin on a song and then blasting them for messing with a classic!
