but David Cook OMG HE NEEDS TO HURRY UP WITH THAT NEXT CD AND TOUR AGAIN!! I HAVE NO PATIENCE!!

LOL Tell me about it! I watched his interview on idolatry about his next album, and he said it'd be a lot of big choruses, and maybe acapella songs like how Imogen Heap does, and all I could think of was "TAKE ME NOW!"

They did say it might be out around the end of this year. Let's hope it's a lot sooner.

And as for the tour, I hope he doesn't do the college thing again where only students of specific colleges can get tickets. I had connections, so I was able to go to one where he was within arms length of me (AND the tickets were only $10...sweet.), but I don't know if I can get that connection again. Plus it was very inconvenient to do. So David, while I love the close and personal tours, please make this next one a little easier to get into.

Oh, and wouldn't you figure, the lady(obvious cougar...she was like close to 50) who got to see him backstage after the show was LITERALLY in front of me. Her ticket was the winner, and there was a group of us that talked in line and stuck together in the rush for the front of the stage when they opened the doors. She was part of that group, and when she won, she was allowed to have a few people go with her. She then goes and picks ONE random person in the crowd, who looked like a teen fanatic all dressed in pink, glitter, with a sign that read something like "Cookie for life!" and that's it. None of us.

Sure made all of us feel cheated out. Although, I kinda was glad later on that I didn't see him then, because my concert was right when he heard his brother Adam was getting worse with cancer, and apparently he ran off from the crowds crying. I wouldn't be able to take that...it'd hurt me too much to see. The next show was his last show for a while because he went to visit Adam, so I guess I'm glad everything turned out the way they did.

Yes! It messed up my recording too. I never caught up with Glee then it cut off recording. Stupid Idol. You need to be better to ruin shows with good singers.

But don't go the club route either. That may be inexpensive but it was hot as hades when I went to see Modest Mouse at one. MM was awesome but the venue sucked.

By drama I meant the whole story in the news this past week with her and Ryan and how he saved her from dropping out of AI. Then she gets the pimp spot, and then this happens. I by no means am bashing Crystal at all, or the fact that she cried, because I can get that. (btw, not saying anyone accused me of bashing her or anything, just making it clear lol) It's just the way everything turned out, there's SO much attention on her. Like others have said, after so much attention, people are going to be sick of seeing/hearing her, and she might have that Idol-Early-Favorites curse that Archie, Lambert, etc have had.

I think they want an underdog story out of Mike, actually. What I mean is, since he was saved, they're trying to promote him and see if the public will buy into the "He was about to be eliminated, but the judges saved him and he overcame all to become the next AI!" story. Again, not Mike's fault at all, but it's unfortunate that certain people get more exposure than others, all because certain things happen to them to make it a 'reality show'.

Idk, I'm venting. I think the frustration over a sucky season and the fact that I have to work tomorrow makes me all jumbled up and so outta line.

I didn't see any of that, I pretty much just watch the show. The only season I read any stuff other than watching was when DC and then only DC stuff.

I used to like watching idol but this season really stinks. The only two that are semi decent are crystal and lee. Casey is great to look at. Tim couldn't win a high schol talent contest. Siobhan-blech. Aaron-cute but just ok. And big Mike....uggg....now that is another person that sang Hero that totally sucked up the song. Hated it when David and David did it too--
As far as Crystal getting the "sympathy vote" there was no one in idol history that got MORE of a sympathy vote than David Cook....pleaseeeeeeee yuk.

Crystal is a great singer. That said what votes she gets she deserves! I do feel bad for her from what they have told us about her past. She seems like a girl that has alot of problems but is trying to make a better life for her and her son. I hope it will come down to her and Lee with Crystal winning. Her voice in my opinion is up there with some really great singers.
