I think the first cousin knew he wasn't going to make it, just there to be with his cousin but he had a great personality & sense of humor. The 2nd cousin was pretty good, great choice of songs for me, love Sam Cooke. I hope he can keep improving.

I'm glad she made it but what about the 16yo girl last year, with the grandmother in show biz who made a lot of facial expressions. They never said anything to her.

If you mean paris...here expressions were nothing like this....besides Paris's voice was way more powerful...I dont think the expressions are all that bad...think back to Clay....Simon hated his expressions...

She didn't scrunch her lip and show horse teeth....I noticed it...and then when they brought her back...I REALLY noticed it.

I hope she takes the advice and sings in a mirror...but the habit she has...looks like she is mimicking some of the nuances of celeb singers and it looks fake and distracting.

Like when someone puts their hand to their ear when they sing. Most of the time I wonder if they even know why that is done and how dumb it makes them look. In those cases though--usually the person can't sing anyway. But the hand on the ear I think is their attempt to "look" professional.
