I haven't watched the guys yet so I can only comment on the girls. I think Stevie was terrible and Brenna needs to go away! I can not stand her and she sounded awful Tuesday nigt.

Just wanted to subscribe to this thread since I am now hopelessly addicted to AI!! I wonder if anyone else noticed a certain young John Travolta/Vinnie Barbarino thing Ace has going on? I don't mean this in a negative way- I think he's smokin'!

Chris I think he's the best singer, and he is getting hotter every time I see him!

Taylor: Great singer and I love his quirkiness.

Ace: This guy has the whole package BUT I wish he had chosen another song last night. I guess I never really listened to the lyrics before, I found it somewhat disturbing.

You assume I'm a Constantine fan though. Definitely not--he had that "ick" factor for me. Like I said, Ace is a pretty boy; I'm just not wow'ed by him yet.

Didn't assume you were a Constantine fan..but there were a lot of them here on the boards that used to get upset because I kept referring to how his googly eyes creeped me and my daughters out. Now Ace...he can stare at the camera all he wants...I get all twitterpatted when he does that!

I said that last night to my DD's when they showed his profile...I had an OMG he looks like Vinnie Barbarino moment. Of course my kids have no clue who Vinnie is, wehen they think John Travolta, they think how he looks now.

I agree for the most part with everyone else but here goes anyway! I think the guys are better than the gals this year. Chris knocked my socks off. Loved Taylor, but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. I can't stand the crooner kid David. I thought it was painful. Although not quite as painful as Sway. I wanted to hit the mute button but then I kept thinking it has to get better! I was wrong. I about fell out of my bed when Randy and Paula started falling all over him.

Bobby was bad. But I give him a lot of credit for being entertaining. I can't decide which is worse. Maybe not having the greatest voice but being able to entertain and get the crowd into it (bobby) or having the talent to sing but just standing there like a tree trunk (Kevin). I agree, Ace is totally hot. But the gazing thing kind of turns me off a bit. Too much like Constantine,who I wasn't a fan of. Tonight should be interesting! I enjoy reading everyone's take on the show. It's amazing how one person can think something was awful and another love it.

Me too!! The way he looks in the camera just doesn't creep me out the same way. Plus I think he has a better voice.

My top three: Chris (BEST voice and I think he's hot!), Ace (looks AND voice!) and Taylor (a breath of fresh air - just love him!)

I don't care much for the girls this season, though Paris is really good!

I already have the performances of Ace (yummy and has a great voice), Taylor (awesome voice and so soulful), Elliot (awesome voice, though he needs a makeover) and Chris (great rocker) downloaded onto my ipod. I like Katherine, but I really think a guy will take it this year.

I hate to sound so shallow, but I just can't stand to watch Kevin. I literally closed my eyes while he was on. He has a decent voice, but he's definately not a looker. I'm hoping they'll work on him a little like they did Clay. He seems so sweet, so I hate to judge him so much on his appearance. I'm also bothered by the dental issues with Bucky and Elliott. Again, they sound good, but I can't stop staring at the teeth. I know I know, I'm horrible. I did like Bucky's performance, but agree that he sounded too raspy on parts that he didn't have to.

Gedeon~ I liked the performance, but was with Simon on the smile. I about fell out of my chair when he said that because I was thinking the exact same thing.

Sway~ GAG!!! I couldn't believe they loved that!!!

Chris~ He nailed it!! Not to mention, I could look at him all day.

Ace~ He sounded great, but Eh, I'm not all mushy over him. I did however think his bother was much cuter. Gorgeous eyes. I think it's Ace's hair that I don't like. It just doesn't suit him or something. I have nothing against long hair either. My DH has hair to the middle of his back. He does have a great smile though

Will~ Adorable. I think he will be a teen idol for sure.

Bobby~ I love that song and actually enjoyed the performance. I know he's not American Idol, but I think he's fun.

Patrick~ Hated how he sang that song. His voice was ok otherwise.

David~ Nope, not for me. Can't stand the crooners trying to sing pop. Cute kid though.

Taylor~ I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE him! I was glad he didn't do the Elaine dance as someone else said. You could tell he was fighting it hard too. There is just something about him that I adore. I had tears in my eyes and the biggest cheesiest grin while watching him.

My favs are Chris and Taylor!!!

I am also one that was creeped out by Constantine, but think Ace is natural.

The thing I noticed last night is that when the cameras would change, such as moving to a side shot, Constantine would follow it and actually bend his head to look directly into it.

Ace did not do that. If the camera moved to the side, we got a profile shot. He didn't camp for the camera and try to follow it.
