Doodle, I'm not so sure. I didn't get that feeling from Kat's response. Maybe I didn't look close enough.

I'm not a big Elliot fan but I think what he's been able to achieve in this competition is really amazing. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and I hope he goes far in the business.

As for the final 2 - I personally think Katharine has the best voice but I'm just not that crazy about her style. I think she'll do fine in the business, though.

As for Taylor - he's very entertaining but I just wonder how it will relate in cd sales. From the sound of this board, I think he'll do well.

I already own Taylor's CD! He and his band have one out and I bought it online 2 months ago. He's been my favorite since we first met him in the audition episodes. Go Taylor!! I would have liked a Taylor/Elliot finale. I can't stomach Katherine anymore.

This sums up my feelings also. I wasn't a huge Elliot fan throughout the competition, but I actually enjoyed listening to him sing more than Taylor.

Next week all the votes in our house go to Katharine.

I said since day 1 of this show that I just want Taylor in the finale, doesn't matter if he wins. Call me greedy, but now that he's up against Kat, I'm thinking I'd like him to kick butt.

Here's the real funny thing. Elliot always bored me - but tonight I got those chills from him when they showed him singing in his hometown. Figures.

Did anyone else notice that when Ryan said it was Elliot, the camera cut to Taylor and Katharine. Taylor looked sad and respectful, while Katharine was wringing her hands and had a goofy, "ha, ha to you" face. I thought it wasn't very respectful to E and his fans.

So now people know what Kat is thinking? I'm so tired of this bashing! Maybe she was thinking, "oh crap, I'm getting voted off tonight", or "wow Ryan looks hot tonight", or "man, I really have to pee". And if people think that she is stuck up, well look where she was raised? It's freakin' LA!!! Nobody is without attitude there! :lol: And sure, her parent's paid the producers to get her this far. And they made her sing so well too! How dare she have a good voice! Whatever, you can vote for Taylor. I like the guy, and have from the beginning. But he is just a good performer, not a great singer. Kat needs work, don't get me wrong. But she has more promise than Taylor, IMHO.

And for the record, if it came down to a Taylor/Chris finale, I would have voted for Chris all the way!

I really think that Taylor will likely win now. I'm surprised that it was so close.

Jumping in here. I am so glad Elliot is FINALLY gone. He has the personality of a wet noodle when he sings. Sure, he seems a genuinely nice guy. But those facial expressions he makes just freak me out. So I'm glad it's Kat and Taylor in the finals.

I'm not surprised Elliott is gone. He is a nice guy with a nice voice, but I never really remember his performances after the show is over. His video tonight was so touching, it is obvious he comes from a very close and loving family.

Kat and Taylor in the finals....I think that Taylor will be fine without the title. Kat is a more marketable singer, she is a diamond in the rough...just like Kelly Clarkson was that first year. She is young, probably a nervous wreck. I have no idea what my face would look like in that situation (especially if I was as young as her), Taylor is older and has "lived" a bit more than Kat, obviously he is going to be able to control his reactions a bit better.

I'll be missing both nights thanks to my lovely work schedule! BUT I'll be taping the show....and voting as soon as I get home.

Well, obviously, I'm happy since Kat's still around. And I'm thrilled that the vote was so close.

I like both Kat and Taylor, so I'm honestly happy with either winning (although all the votes in our house will be going to Kat next week).
