I like Elliott, I could only get through once for Taylor last night after about an hour or dialing!!! I couldn't get through for Elliott at all.

Poor Elliott... oh well, next week I hope it will be Taylor's turn to win the whole thing!!!! Chris is still #1 in my book though.

Anyone feeling like the finale will fizzle because it's no real contest anymore? Is there any real doubt Taylor will win?

Well after those final results, even I'm not as sure. I really don't know who I want to win now, even though I said before how much I don't like Taylor. But Katharine somehow managed to get through...

Oh well, I was expecting Elliott to go, but was hoping he might make it to the finale.

Don't think I'll be bothering to vote next week.

I liike mcPhee but this has to be the worst AI season yet,no one has caught my attention and its not even a competition because taylor is just plain weird!

Even though the #s seemed so close, they are not as close as we THINK...take the 50+million and divide it out...you have a big gap in Actual #s of votes....

I SWORE I wasn't going to watch this after last week, but I couldn't help myself. Had to see what was going to happen with Elliot and Taylor(hoping Katherine was going).

oh i'm so disappointed! mainly becos i just love hearing elliott sing and i am saddened that i won't get to hear him again (i would've missed the finale anyway, i'll be in disney but it's usually the top two who end up putting out records right away - i don't even remember who came in third last year anymore). i will keep my eye on him and hope that he cuts an album, i will be first in line to get it. what a voice!
i don't much like katherine, but she sounded great tonight - i think my problem is i really like it when she sings fast, but when she sings ballads they sound awful and screechy to me, and she sings a lot of ballads. tonight, though, she reminded me that she was the best female performer in the top 24, even though i would have preferred an elliott/taylor finale (and actually, i would've preferred taylor win - i am SO curious to see what AI is going to DO with him and how he'll be marketed!)
Good Luck Taylor! I'd watch him perform next Tuesday, but I think I'll be catching Fantasmic around then, or pulling up to the 50's Prime Time Cafe bar for a drink

Wow. I can't believe how close the votes were!!!!!!!
Elliott is really a class act. He was genuinely thankful and gracious! The love that he shows for his family is wonderful. I cried all through his hometown video and goodbye video because his thankfulness was so evident. I hate to see him go, and I hope that he goes a long way. I bet that even those that don't like his singing or his looks will have to agree that he seems to be a genuinely gracious guy!

i agree about this being the worst AI season ever! ughh htey just need to end this show. i rarely watch and i don't vote. there are better things on! i do a majority of my catching up on this thread

How depressing. I loved Elliott. He will be the only Idol that I would have bought a CD from. I hope he puts one out. I also hope that witch Kat is gone next week. Go Taylor!!

The percentages still reflect the true difference. Because the sheer size of the number of votes is so large, the difference is still a large number to US but not considering the total number of votes each contestant gets individually and what the total was to start with. i.e., a 15,000 vote difference is nothing considering there were 50 mil to begin with.

I don't care at all who wins since Chris is gone. We didn't watch last eve and just watched the results tonight. In a way, it's easier to watch the show when you aren't so worried about who is going home!!!

The show hasn't aired yet on the west coast, obviously, but I had to come on and check who got the boot, cause I couldn't stand the suspense. My poor Elliott! I really liked that little fella. I LOVE his voice. Now I don't care who wins. Personality-wise, I like Taylor better, but voice-wise I prefer Katherine (I don't really enjoy either of their voices usually, although each has given a good performance on occasion).

Chris and Elliott were robbed!
