My 13 year old asked who Melissa Gilbert was, I said Laura Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie. She then asked what that was! She has never seen L.H.o t P!

Though I have to say that last night Kat butchered one of my current favorite songs, "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall.

Lots of folks disagree, and believe that Kat's rendition was far better than the original. I said earlier in the week that the only performer I'd buy a CD for was Chris, but after Kat's performance of Black Horse and a Cherry Tree, I'm going to have to reconsider. I thought we were down to a two horse race between Chris and Taylor, but I think now I might have counted Katherine out too soon.

My DD7 wouldn't let me watch the show! This is the first year we have watched and we have seen every show including when we were at Disney the other week. DD has grown attached to these folks and is sad whenever one leaves. Paris was her favorite from the beginning, and she still hasn't gotten over Kevin being eliminated! She was also a big Bucky fan.

I'll admit that I don't like wednesday nights either. After all these weeks I have gotten to like the preformers and I feel bad when they get eliminated. Well, at least they will be able to see each other during the tour this summer.

I did tune in during the last few minutes to see Elliot & Paris on the stage. DD made me put it on mute and she closed her eyes. Only when it was over would she open them. Do you know that AI is a serious topic in her first grade class???

Yo dawgs, listen up...sure Taylor is entertaining to watch, but that ain't gonna come across on the radio. That's what Simon's looking for. That's why he likes Elliot, he's got a really great voice...

I think the song Elliot performed last week could be released as a single right now...go back and really listen to this song...nobody can touch him.

ITA I enjoy Taylor, but I really would buy music that Elliot sings. To me, Katherine seems the same as a lot of other singers, and I only like Paris when she sings the old songs. I don't think that she can compete with 26 YO's. I think this may be a little unfair to her, it comes across as dress up.

Thank you! That's the term that is incredibly fitting. I believe she has an amazing voice, but she is so young to have the "grown up" voice that she has. Kinda like the child geniuses that are in college and they are only 11 years old.

If you look at people's comments right after the performance show, the guesses are pretty accurate as to who will be the bottom two.

I totally disagree....Elliott has the worst voice in this final 5 and should have been voted off 2 or 3 weeks ago....if we are going on true voice then Paris is probably the best voice then maybe Kat.....Taylor and Chris have really good voices too but elliott has no power in his voice its just one tone over and over....I dont like it

As much as I love Taylor, I don't believe he will win and I am beginning to entertain the possibility that the final 2 might be Chris and Kat.

If the finale songs are anything like the group song the contestants sang last night, which I fast forwarded through after the first 30 seconds, my hope is that Taylor will whip out the harmonica and get himself disqualified so he doesn't make the final 2. I don't think I could stand hearing Taylor sing that junk. And, I have a feeling, Taylor wouldn't want to be singing it ...

I know - I am so torn. It's like instinctive to want Taylor to win 'cause I love him. But I know he'd do better career-wise if he got like second or third.

I don't know, though. They don't even touch him on elimination night. It's always like "Taylor just go sit down."

And I've said from day 1 that I want a Chris-Taylor finale - and I do - I guess - but having a show with those 2 dueting sappy songs like that one would be beyond ridiculous.
