Well, "getting it right" this week would have meant Pickler going home.

I so agree. I thought Ace had a nice smooth voice, he had some bad nights where he was lucky to have gotten through..he would never have won but Kellie should NOT still be there.

They did this same stunt with choosing the last 2 years that I can remember. George Huff picked the wrong group, Bo refused to pick a group.

It was time for Ace to go and he knew it. This was the first week that he didn't look like he was going to puke.

I guess Kellie doesn't have to sing. After the worst performance ever on American Idol, she doesn't even make the bottom three.

Chris fans can vote a little harder next week.

You are right about Kellie....she MAY go far but last night she REALLY blew it! Shows this is NOT just a singing competition....
Just really disappointed in the voting right now....

Wooho, I was dead on about tonight's show. I knew that it would be the same as past few years and Taylor would be the 7th guy who had to pick the safe group.

Anyways, I'm sad to see Ace go, but it was his turn.

LOL... I know I beat the drum for her and you don't, but c'mon there have been DOZENS of worse performances than that. And yes, she was Godawful last night.

You know that people don't always vote for a performance, but a performer.... ESPECIALLY this late in the game. Even though a vast majority of women here do not like Kellie, it is QUITE obvious that many accross the country do..... including Canada!

OK, I'm dating my self now but does anyone remember the old Partridge family show when Keith thinks this girl is gorgeous and he thinks she sings great, but she really stinks? Then when his family tapes the girl singing and he hears her voice without seeing her he also thinks she stinks?

That show is exactly what I think of everytime I hear Kellie.

If she was built like Mandisa she would have been gone tonight.

I think I have now lost faith in the voting system. I think it is fixed. I voted for Chris from the time the lines opened till they closed. I could not get ONE vote in for him. His line was busy the whole time. For him to be in the bottom three something is really wrong!!!!!! This is when I start getting disgusted in these voting shows. Kelli is still on the show??? That says it all.

Why thank you. I was simply responding the the "everyone I know" statement -- showing that I was between the stated ages and do not like Taylor.

Wow, okay.. first, my statement was everyone I know loves Taylor. I don't know you, you are not part of everyone I know. You are not part of the group of people I was referring to. I was referring to my circle of friends and employees that watch AI. Not quite sure why you jumped on me over this when I'm just talking about people I know and who they are rooting for.

What's been the hold-up, up until now? They guy has been making music for a while, but hasn't gotten folks to pay much attention to him until he put himself up against a bunch of actual amateurs.

OK, Bicker, I had to laugh at this statement. How in all that is holy could I, or any of the people that I know that are fans, have known about Taylor Hicks prior to the beginning of American Idol? For Pete's sake, the man lives in Alabama and I'm in Virginia. Heck, I work a mile from where Elliott lives and I've never heard of him! What are we supposed to do, call the Psychic Friends Hotline and find out where musical acts we potentially may find entertaining and good are performing before they hit the big time?

I don't "think" they have to sing "his" songs. He is there to coach them to sing great LOVE songs, if I understood the promo right.
