Honestly I think Lauren is a sure thing for the winner and has been since the day Steven said so during her audition. I bet the producers want a female to finally win and she is cute and marketable. Though maybe Haley will be the winner instead. I just don't see a guy winning this year since it's been so long since a woman won.

Really? That's funny because this whole time I didn't think it would be anyone other than Scotty or James. I never really saw Lauren as the winner (although I definitely wouldn't mind because I think she's great).

Right..and it is tough when negative comments are aimed at your favorite (such as vomiting smilies.) But it is just a TV show and whomever goes home doesn't really mean anything to me personally.

I do think this year the board has been harsher than in the past. I'm not sure why. Maybe the different types of music are causing divides to be drawn like in politics.

I thought the David Archuletta/Cook year was pretty harsh too. Archie was despised by most here.

The Fantasia year was really bad. I was a fan of John Stevens, who almost nobody liked. I had people jumping down my throat over that.

Season 7 wasn't that great either since I was a fan of David Archuleta...who again, most didn't like.

It was BAD then. I think I was the only one who was routing for Fantasia. I remember when they announced she won my computer went down I was so glad because it prevented me from gloating.
