American Idol: Season 10 PART III

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

What else is there to say? Scotty is simply amazing  Him and Tim McGraw's performance was probably the best performance I have ever seen on the Idol stage:love:

I'm thinkin they have been a couple for a while, first the "love you babe" and the "Me & Lauren have been together for a year since auditions and we'll be together after this too...." or something to that effect, 'cause I said to dd "wow I guess they are dating" and for some reason that excited me :lmao:

Hopefully I will be going to see them on tour this summer, I am laready going to see my other Idol Kenny Chesney this summer but seeing Scotty in person would truly make my summer:love:

Next I have to make sure him and Lauren aren't a pair because I really want me that southern gentlemen, I guess Ill have to take care of that if I go to see them on tour;)

I liked the little thing with the contestants joking about Scotty and Lauren being children. Especially Stefano's comment about them being 6th graders. So if they are 6th graders...does that make him a 7th grader? ;)

Oh yes, and the argument over the most shocking elimination. That was entertaining.

When will we see a Scotty commercial like this? Had to post David's because as much as I love Lee, I think his was the best (plus I know there are a lot of DC lovers out there, hehe).

Since I wasnt on here for the whole thing here are a couple of my thoughts from the night

-Carrie Underwood out sang Lauren by a mile IMO, but that did not surprise me
-I was reminded how good of a season it was; Paul, Casey, Pia, Haley, or James could have taken it to
-Haley was the best girl in it, after hearing them all sing together tonight I realized that Haley had the best voice IMO
-Pia is a diva
-today's entertainment is VERY dirty, all of the dancing going on tonight:scared1: and Lady Gaga and her "man" As much as people on here have said country music is boring, at least it is clean and not racy and enjoyable for all ages!

 I LOVED DC's commercial!!!

Something else I just want to point out.

A lot of people have shared a hate for country on here, but I would like to point out that the most successful Idol so far (if we want to go by money made and records) is a country singer. I just find it interesting becuase I think it shows that country music is very popular and that is why I never found it hard to believe 2 country singers were in the finale. It is a more popular genre then most on here believe.

I agree, the Lady Gaga erotic grinding scene was GROSS for a show with such classy 16/17 yr olds. :headache:

And I didn't like cliff jumping at the end...very unsettling for me.

Thought this was a pretty good Steven Tylerism...
What he wants on his gravestone:

Here lies Tyler, the Demon of Screamin, who never woke up from the dream he was dreamin, until one day he drank some magic potion, now all that's left is sweet emotion.

One last quick thing I want to say about tonight.

I do NOT like how they did not invite Lee back to sing and then when he showed up to watch anyway they did not make note of him. You could see him on TV a few times but I would of thought that Ryan would have gone and asked him "How did Idol change your life" like they have always asked the previous Idol winner. No matter how good Lee has been they still should have invited him back. No matter what he won last season and it has been a tradition for the previous winner to come back.

You just never knew what was going to happen this season. I mean, they didn't have last year's winner on the finale, so who knew what else they were going to do.

the last 15 minutes of the show, you could see Lee Dewyze sitting on the aisle seat if you looked over Ryan's shoulder.

so last year's winner was there and not even a "hey, Lee's here tonight".

Lee was not my favorite last year but is was a shame they snubbed his presence at the show tonight.

Back from the banquet and watched the show...WOW! AWESOME finale!:cool1: Tony Bennett, Tom Jones and Steven Tyler all on the same stage on the same night? :cloud9: So many fun songs and skits. The top 13 all looked like they were having a blast. How cool to get to pick their Ford's, if that were my DS he would have gone Mustang Boss 302 in black, or an F150 Raptor. Lauren and Scotty both looked very calm and happy throughout. That was cool to have the teachers there.(even cooler to get cars)
Randy's bowtie, I like the look for him, lol.
All of the guest musicians were great with the Idols and then on their own.
James and Judas Priest..doubt James will forget that anytime soon, Scotty and Tim McGraw, Lauren and Carrie...Casey and Jack Black :rotfl: Tony Bennett does love to do that duet with the partners he gets, lol...Haley looked like she enjoyed it and the dancing.
I really really enjoyed the guys tunes before Tom Jones came out...again, they looked like they were having so much fun.
I liked Marc Anthony and Sheila E./ Jlo ( the girl can dance)..and Lady GaGa...TLC a blast from the past and I guess Lil John was available since Celebrity Apprentice is over.
Not a fan of U2/Bono but even their song was really good. I have not seen the play so I didn't realize that song was from it. I have heard it on the radio.
And then Steven:love: LOVE Dream On, when an artist nails the tune live to sound as good as recorded? :worship:
Scotty and Lauren, not sure if dating or not, but sure do compliment each other nicely.
Both families should be bursting with pride, absolutely humble and classy kids. Here's hoping they can retain who they are.
Well, I'm sure my FIL is thrilled, he has been rooting for Scotty since Milwaukee.
Congrat's to Scotty and as Jennasis said, kudos to NC for being such a hotbed of talent!

I thought it was rather odd. They always have the previous winner perform on the finale show but they did not even acknowledge him at all. I :lovestruc Lee and feel so bad for him. They could have had him perform rather than Beyonce, the second time, or Lady GaGa. Her performance was inappropriate.
