So far I like Brett, Lauren, Colton and I'm not remembering his name but the boy with aspergers.

However, I do like that they had their butt handed to them by the judges. After hearing them sing though, they may have been thinking though as I couldn't figure out how the poor kid would have fared.

What confuses me though--I thought forgotten lyrics was SACRED. But they let 2 through (at least!). Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with the singers....BUT....I thought forgetting the words and certainly making them up was taboo on idol.

We watched Thursday's episode last night. I cannot believe that crazy girl Ashley or whatever her name is got through, especially when Chelsea didn't?! Seriously, Chelsea was way better than her. I don't get it.

I have a feeling after a while he's going to start getting on my nerves but I find that blonde guy (was his name Carson???) entertaining. LOL!

However, I do like that they had their butt handed to them by the judges. After hearing them sing though, they may have been thinking though as I couldn't figure out how the poor kid would have fared.

What confuses me though--I thought forgotten lyrics was SACRED. But they let 2 through (at least!). Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with the singers....BUT....I thought forgetting the words and certainly making them up was taboo on idol.

...apparently, not for everyone.

They just don't keep track of that, the only way to know is by people telling.

There's are two well known(and revered) Idol blogs that know the final results. One is known for posting the spoilers and the other one will link to it and if the readers want to know, then they can find out.

As of now the top 24 are picked. They'll be revealed next thursday.

I can give you the links to the blogs if you're interested. The main one is on twitter and facebook as well. Again, she will NOT post the spoilers directly(the other one does) but she will link to that site for those who want to know.

Oh ha, I was talking to a couple other people who were asking. I haven't read the whole thread. That would take too much time.

Anyways, I have zero problem with that boy getting booted by the group. Sorry but I think he doesn't have what it takes, I wasn't impressed with him at his audition and don't get the adoration. I just don't think his voice has developed enough to be a "star". I swear that if he was 22 and they kicked him out of their group last minute not one judge would have had an issue. To me they're just milking the age thing.

And lowering the age this year was slightly awful idea because while SOME kids are ready for it and good enough- see Brett- I think others just aren't.

Right now the standouts to me are as follows: Brett, Robbie, Casey, Julie, Ashton, Pia and a blonde who's name escapes me.

I don't like the creepy factor with Lauren, it seems they're already trying to push her as the star. Huge turnoff. And her constantly "singing" to Steven Tyler is extremely see through. Then there's the near lap dancing whenever she gets around him that has an ick factor to it, she's 15!

I do like that Clint guy, despite others attacking him for what he did to Jaycee. Again, if you know the voice isn't going to match what you're going for-and those group things can be KILLER, you've seen it, sometimes one person messing up can throw everyone off and doom the rest- then why should they have to have him in. He obviously wasn't working well with them.

And that Ashley girl, oy. Her and Scotty getting through was positively ridiculous. She's a nightmare. And he's a bit of a one trick pony. He can't sing much else outside of what he knows, he even admitted it! And he forgot the lyrics. gahh

Oh, other guy I like is Carson. Mainly for the fact that he's livewire and amusing. Voice isn't awful either.

I saw Clint sing his song without issue. Sure he can overemote sometimes but he didn't miss the words. And he hasn't sang the same song over and over.

I said the same thing to DH-his voice just did not work with the rest of the group--but they should have figured that out sooner.

i think simon was the remmber the lyrics head guy.randy was to some degree but I think Simon just flipped if you forgot.
Which I never understood some of the greatest signers (I.E. Ella Fitzgeralrd) that were not good at rememberig lyrics.
That said, I don't think she ever asked to "Start Over"
