Slightly off topic but I despise doing grammar homework sometimes.
Yes, there are jobs out there..just not the cushy high paying jobs. My husband always said if he lost his job he would work 3 crap jobs if he had to.
i kind of agree tho. there's ways to prevent it. DH and i have been together for 8 years now and we've managed to stay baby-free so far(we're waiting until we're a little more financially stable).
and yeah...i never get when people say that, either. it's always like they're "too good" for those jobs. i'm sorry....but working for a living to support your family....there's nothing shameful about that. i can respect that. even IF you're working fast food....sometimes it's the only way.
and it's different now, anyway. a lot of those places will actually help you out if you want to go back to school. they'll work around your schedule or they'll do some sort of scholarship so you can eventually get a BETTER job anyway.
am i the only one who thinks the one kid looks like a brunette Ron Weasley???
One of my friends (I have known her for a very long time and she is an all around good person so I bite my tongue on this with her) had a baby the year after she graduated high school. Got welfare and got jobs at daycares where her child could be cared for for FREE. She didn't like how they cared for her so she quit. It happened several times with different places...nothing was good enough and she can't work in a store because the lights give her headaches..whatever.
Well, they go and have another baby last month. Now she refuses to work because they would lose benefits. The system is messed up but it's also just people with entitlement attitudes.
Rant over.

And definitely not IT-related jobs. I've got a friend who's been out of work for 2 years now. He did work for the Census but that's been it. He coulda gone back to school and at least update his degree or try something else.
well if you want them to remember the lyrics.....and that's the only way.....
i didn't know that wasn't allowed. but i guess i can see why it wouldn't be.
...it's a VERY long story, but my sister(whom hasn't spoken to me in years....hence the "long story" thing) is the SAME WAY. she has two kids and she refuses to get a job. she once told my mother that she's "too overqualified for every job in this city"....i was like "really?? too overqualified?? considering she only has a GED...i'm pretty sure she's actually QUITE qualified for a lot of jobs, actually"
and back on topic, that last group was REALLY good!!
I hate homework in general but grammar homework sounds tedious.
I hate homework period.
What's not allowed?

People like that are too much for me.
