Me too! I cannot stand his "sob story"

me either "omg we have a baby and we're struggling!" welcome to real life! "and oh i have torretts(sp?)" ....you and how many other people in the world? and his isn't even as bad as it can get.

the Hunger Game is the first of a three book series for young adults...although it's quite dark. It's kind of a Lord of the Flies story mixed up with the Wizard of Oz.

The movie is not due until 2012. I don't think it has been cast yet.

that actually sounds REALLY interesting! thanks for telling me about it! i think i'll put that on my wishlist for Barnes and Noble!

i can't even type my legit reaction right now or i'd probably get banned from the Dis......

Enough of the stage moms. They make me want to dislike their children.

that's ALL moms tho. my mother would be the same way "my daughter is going to blow it out of the water!"

wow they sound REALLY good!! SO much better than that last group!

I was going to say something about they likely wouldn't be in their position if they would have used precautions (not saying that it always works but if you do it correctly it most likely does). I thought it would be too harsh so opted out. But it's what I think. They are not the only ones raising a baby on low income.

What really annoyed me was his whole "I can't find work" I am almost positive McDonald's or Burger King or KFC will take you on. What about the grocery store or drugstore? I hate that whole can't find work attitude when there ARE jobs there just not desirable ones.

Oh Yeah...that was us dance moms. We did the steps right along with them in our heads and as they got older and those dances got more complicated all we could do was stand off to the side and count off the steps. I would laugh at us all bobbing our heads as our kids danced.

i kind of agree tho. there's ways to prevent it. DH and i have been together for 8 years now and we've managed to stay baby-free so far(we're waiting until we're a little more financially stable).

and yeah...i never get when people say that, either. it's always like they're "too good" for those jobs. i'm sorry....but working for a living to support your family....there's nothing shameful about that. i can respect that. even IF you're working fast food....sometimes it's the only way.

and it's different now, anyway. a lot of those places will actually help you out if you want to go back to school. they'll work around your schedule or they'll do some sort of scholarship so you can eventually get a BETTER job anyway.

Yes, there are jobs out there..just not the cushy high paying jobs. My husband always said if he lost his job he would work 3 crap jobs if he had to.

my mom's still that way now. when i tell her about a bad day at work or how a co-worker hasn't been exactly the nicest to me she'll be like "screw them! you're a lot nicer and smarter than them anyway!"

mom's never change when it comes to those things lol
