My friend is getting a big tax refund. They are buying carpet. They have hardwood. A bit scratched but is it really necessary to carpet your whole house? And her and her husband have iphones. Gee...I'd like to have one but won't pay for a data plan. My friend asked me why I had the phone I had (stupid phone).

People like that make me so mad!

I'm using mine to replace those tires, fund my Dragoncon trip and maybe buy a new, bigger tv. Perhaps a 26" to replace my 13" and fill the oil tank for the furnace.

Maybe...I play an instrument and memorize music for performances. Memorization was always such an automatic thing for me. But it's probably different for singing.

Or at least the version that they had on VH1 that was "eff you" instead of the original uncensored version on Time Warner's Music Choice.

first, i can easily memorize music. i don't think everyone can memorize so easily. but, i've been around music my entire life--it comes naturally. these people are supposed to be singers. i feel like they should have the natural ability to easily memorize music as well. i don't get why it's so hard for some of them. i'm sure nerves play a part. but then, some seem to not even try.

that said, i am so glad they let Jaycee through. i feel like the whole thing threw him off, making it harder for him to memorize. plus, he's young and lacks the maturity to deal with those kinds of things. i thought it said multitudes (about him) that the crowd stood up cheering when they told him to step forward (and that Brett did a little jump).

now, rob. i loved rob until tonight. he's old enough to suck it up and deal with it. seriously. but i also can't believe they let jacqueline through. i thought she sounded terrible.

the first few groups they showed tonight surprised me. i was surprised they let them all through. i didn't think they all deserved it (but i can't remember individual names).

and that one girl is crazy. ashley? i worry about her. she doesn't seem very stable.
