One of my friends (I have known her for a very long time and she is an all around good person so I bite my tongue on this with her) had a baby the year after she graduated high school. Got welfare and got jobs at daycares where her child could be cared for for FREE. She didn't like how they cared for her so she quit. It happened several times with different places...nothing was good enough and she can't work in a store because the lights give her headaches..whatever.

Well, they go and have another baby last month. Now she refuses to work because they would lose benefits. The system is messed up but it's also just people with entitlement attitudes.

Rant over.

I can't stand people who think they DESERVE entitlements.

My niece finished high school while also taking care of a baby. It wasn't easy but she was able to graduate. She's struggling to find a job. She worked for a nursing home briefly but hated it. Her husband works in the parts dept for a car dealership.

she's someone who feel VERY entitled to EVERYTHING. she thinks she should get things for free and not have to work for anything. her and i got into many arguments about that, that's one of the many reasons we don't even speak anymore. the world revolves around her, you know.

She was born in America...she should get whatever she wants! That's the American dream.

My friend is getting a big tax refund. They are buying carpet. They have hardwood. A bit scratched but is it really necessary to carpet your whole house? And her and her husband have iphones. Gee...I'd like to have one but won't pay for a data plan. My friend asked me why I had the phone I had (stupid phone).

People like that make me so mad!

me either. and my mother just goads her on, too giving her money and driving her around town(my sister is 37 and has no car or license...and refuses to use the bus or a cab).

see....some people make it work no matter what! your neice is a perfect example!

i know a LOT of people like that. i always hear "omg what are you doing with your tax money??" "paying bills!!!" lol well DH and i are thinking about putting in another toilet in our basement, but aside from that it'll be bills.

I thought the same thing. Even the country guy worked in well with the song. Though he did seem very upset about treating JC so poorly at least. Glasses guy is a jerk.
