American Idol Season 10: Official Thread!!

Good show gang! Saw a bunch of really good singers tonight. The last guy with the fiance who was in the accident boke my heart! DH and I were crying over them. The girl seemed to be completely "with it", which makes her situation so much more heart beaking.

My favorite of the night was Scott Dangerfield. Dug him a lot!

Can't wait to head to "Music City" tomorrow!

i normally don't like the sob stories because they seem so forced. but that last story broke my heart. i think it was a story that needed to be told. what a great guy to stick with her. he's right. he was going to take vows, why would it be different just because the accident was right before the wedding? i'm glad that he could sing!

and i thought the judges were so sweet--steven tyler especially.

I am rarely moved by the stories they put on Idol, but that last one really got to me. First time I ever shed tears watching this show! I did not think I would like Tyler and Lopez, but they are coming across really well.

didn't have the chance to post last night, but sigh....just cannot get enough Steven, not Steve...lol....Tyler! I was watching closely to see a local girl but either I missed her or she is one that got a ticket but no T.V. time. Anyone remember a Tee Wilson...Ta-Tynesia Wilson? The girk who works for Summerfest, pretty cool, liked her voice, loved the first country guy, Beatles girl,accountant (who will now have friends) and also last guy . Anyone else think Danney Gokey (who was also from Milwaukee) right off the bat when the story was starting? He held his own tho, way better than a lot of the ones from day 1 who were sent thru. Steven Tyler was awesome with the girlfriend and her family! He just rocks!

I hate I missed wathcing with you guys live last night. The kids and I were all feeling bad, so we snuggled up in my bed to watch.

Steven got me at the end, too. He had me crying! He seems like a really nice person. So funny and so sweet.

Mandy, do you have the list of people that made the cut from Milwaukee? One of our kids' friends tried out and as far as we know he made it to Hollywood but we don't know for sure. They were really hoping to see him last night but he wasn't on.

I have to agree that Steven and Jennifer are much better then I expected.

Can I just say I am very sick of the WW commercial with Jennifer Hudson...and just for the record, she lost her weight BEFORE the new points plus program started.

That's what I thought, but she was in a "test market" and used the new PointsPlus Program. So she did lose her weight on the new program. I have to agree that the commercial is in over-satuation.
