same here! I have no interest in watching anymore now! I liked Kat too, but not as much as Chris and I won't even vote for her now!

I am just totally stunned!! I just sat on the edge of my couch in tears!! Well, it's over for me too. I guess the only redemption would be if Taylor won. He's not FANTASTIC, but at least he has a personality!

I like CAT, but was sorry to see Chris go, I thought he would win overall. Very surprised. I will still continue to watch tho, But I liked Clay better than Ruben 2 years ago. I loved Carey last year. I think Elliot has probably the best voice. I don't care for his teeth, but I like his voice. I think Chris is the cutest. Taylor is the most fun to watch. Katherine, I think would make it on any big broadway show. She seems better suited to play a role as Christine on Phantom of the Opera. She is really trying to play the part, but she isn't any Carey Underwood. But I still do like her.

That was the most shocked I have been in all the years of Idol!!!

Everyone was stunned......My phone rang right after the show and I just picked it up and so OH MY GOD!!!! I knew it would be my friend though, Ok so now I have to rethink who will win!!!
I am almost afraid to guess, because I never guess correctly.
I will still watch but I am very sad Chris is no longer on the show :

Chris was my favorite. I like all three that are left, but I do not think they are American Idols.

I thought Chris would win and was stunned, but I bet he will be the biggest star--he has great show manship. I do not like Cat and wanted to see her go for several weeks.

Oh well, I didn't care for some of the other winners either, but I have to wonder about the voting. I think it is just too hard to get through and doesn't reflect how people really feel. they should have online voting so you don't get a busy signal for 2 hours.

We were totally shocked. But look at it this way, he can pick what type of album he wants to make versus what the idol label wants. He was already offered a lead singer position for a rock band that he turned down for idol so, we'll see. He is going to be big, I can just feel it.

This was a very sad night------Say it isn't sooooo. It must have been a nighmare!!! Pinch me Pinch me I think everyone that liked Chris was so confident he would win and that he has so many votes that there was no need to call. So noone called for Chris because they thought it was in the bag (O.K. well I didn't call at least) and now look what has happened I demand a recount - where are so missing chads J/K

Oh well I guess it is down to Taylor for me now and his chances have increased ten fold now with Chris gone

IMHO (take it for what it's worth) none of the remaining 3 are "Idol" material, in comparison with previous winners. Chris was the only one that could compete at that level. I think, whoever, wins at this point will have the worst record sales of any of the previous winners.

Also, again just MHO, if Taylor ends up winning this thing ... I won't watch next season either. Someone said that they believe Chris left because he sounded the same week after week ... and Taylor doesn't? In the words of Simon, "That's just vegas-style Karaoke".

poohssmum i agree with you. i cant stand taylor or elliot and katherine (dont go there). chris was the best i dont understand what happened
so i vow i will never tivo american idol and i will not watch it next season or anyseason after that. It keeps getting worse year after year.
