/American Girl on QVC - 9/11 from 4-6 pm EST

:cool1::cool1::cool1:Lanie arrived today!! Now I have to keep her hidden until Santa come!

Good for you! Ivy and Ruthie are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. They were supposed to be delivered today, but there was a little mixup with UPS. That's ok, I need Ivy for November and Ruthie for Christmas.

Now I just have to get Kit's Treehouse.

Thanks for the Cyber Monday tips! I am looking for accessories! I will have to think hard about this! I will probably order the stuff now cause I will worry to death about not getting it over here in time! Again Thanks!! OOh yeah, I am glad you guys are getting your dolls. I am thinking mine should be here in another week or two! YAAAHHH

Does anyone have the treehouse? If so, can you tell me if it's worth the money and is the actual tree house very big inside for the dolls? Any reviews will help.
TIA

I have a question for those of you who have several pieces of AG or AG sized furniture. . . WHERE do you keep it? My DD has the tub, salon chair, and armoire right now. She is getting a shoe rack and bed for Christmas. Right now the armoire is beside her dresser, she stores her pet grooming set on top of it along with her Zhu Zhu's. The chair and tub are in the closet when she isn't using them. I'm just thinking the bed and rack added to all that is getting to be a bit much size-wise but she loves and uses the toys so I know I want her to have them. We'll scooch it all around and make room but I wondered if anyone had any fabulous ideas I hadn't thought of yet? :)

I don't have the tree house, but I've been to AGPC many times and drooled over the thing. That is my Holy Grail, but we just don't have room for it.

It's HUGE. It'll easily fit four dolls (2 inside, 2 on the porch). Maybe even a 5th or 6th, if you squeeze 'em in.

I bought through QVC AG twice today. What I saw, not usually post dolls website until midnight or later and display. All sell very quickly so they are placed on the website too soon may mean that they will not sell the remainder show airs.

My daughter's room has been taken over by her doll furniture right now too. Beside her bed she has 2 doll beds, one with a trundel, and then the bitty baby's crib, she likes to put them all to bed each night. We also have 2 horses sitting next to the beds. I don't know where we are going to put any more stuff, she is getting 3 more dolls before the year is out as well as the bathtub, armoire, tea table and chairs and she wants more beds:eek: We do have a playroom but I like her to keep her AG stuff in her room so it doesn't get messed with as much because she shares the playroom with my 6+8 year old DS's who often have friends over.

Ha! Yes, forgot our horse. Another space eater LOL I totally understand about the playroom. We have a large walkout basement and are in the process of re-doing a room for the kids to play in. I don't want to put her AG stuff there either (1 because if it were to flood, it IS a basement after all, it could ruin stuff. 2 because we have 2 daycare kids in the mornings before school. The girl is DD's age and she is great with them but the boy is my youngest DS's age and I can just see them waging war on the AG's )
Maybe clearing out some other things from her room will free up some space for the ever-growing doll world. Like I said, we both enjoy them too much to NOT have them! :rolleyes1

Got Rebecca & Lanie yesterday! :yay: Now I'm trying to figure out where all this AG stuff is going to go. We just keep adding to her large collection every birthday and Christmas. Her room is already taken over with 2 beds, an armoire, vanity, table/chairs, stove & too many dolls, clothes, animals & accessories to count. We do keep most of the clothes in big AG boxes (which stay in her closet) & the little armoire, which doesn't hold too much. A lot of her animals & accessories are stored in her blanket cupboard (part of her own bedroom furniture...so glad we bought it). Her room is not very big and she doesn't have a walk-in closet, so that with the big bedroom furniture doesn't leave us much extra room. I only wish we had a playroom or bonus room.

We've resisted many of the AG accessories, other than pets and clothes, until recently. We do have a horse and the camper will be here in December. My oldest already promised, when asking for the camper, that she'll donate some old toys to make room for Christmas. The only way to make room in our house is to get rid of something already here!

I also have a question for you guys...DD (11.5) no longer plays with her doll and none of her friends do either. She has several pieces of clothing that she's never used for her AG doll. :rolleyes1 The clothes are still in their boxes untouched. What is the best way to sell these?

I would imagine ebay is the best place; that is where I look for items no longer sold by AG. What are the clothes?

Lanie came today here too!:thumbsup2

DD used to have a bunk bed set that I bought off of walmart.com which was great for her two girls. It did break (not her fault at all, a younger cousin sat on it, and it snapped) and right now she does not have a bed for her dolls. I have been putting off getting another one b/c she has five dolls (lanie will make 6) and we CAN'T fit a bed for all of them in her room.

Any ideas?

Could you maybe try to make some doll hammocks to hang in the corners of the room? If you decorated them, etc. I think it might be really cute!

That is a great idea, I am going to use that. You could get some decorator fishing net and make hammocks out of it.
