AMC Package

Does anyone out there have this "package"? Just wondering, because I got my confirmation and this is the code on the paperwork. We'll be there Dec. 11-15.

Just want to explain this "package". I was able to get a room rate of 79.00 plus tax at CSR. I haven't heard of this good a deal except fot AP or Florida res. passes. I can't be the only person with this rate. Just curious!!!!!

I just called CRO and gave this code and the CM quoted me Grand Floridian garden Dec. $222 and lagoon @ $266.

Here's a little more detail... I called the DC ressie line about 3 weeks ago out of curiosity to plan a possible trip in Dec. After I gave my name, the CM asked if I had recently received a mailer for a special rate. I said no, but also told her that we had moved recently and I can't depend on all of our mail being forwarded. She then offered me this rate at CSR. To be quite honest, I was shocked because I hadn't heard of anything close to this. I wasn't even going to make a ressie because my daughter's friend is working in the CP and supposedly can get us a better deal, but as of yet she has not come thru for us. I'm so glad I made that call. I went ahead and made the deposit of 1 night, and another great thing is there is no additional money due till check-in. The CM told me this is rate has nothing to do with the DC. Its probably one of those random postcard mysteries. I didn't know it had a "code" until I received my confirmation. The only thing I can think of that might be related to those letters is the AMC movie theatre chain. Does Disney own that chain? Well, hope this helps, and if someone else can get this great rate, that's even better!

FYI... Code AMC was a postcard code and has a pin number that is assigned to the postcard recipient that is non-transferrable. In addition this code is for travel 10/2-12/26/03.
