Amazon prime day!

We got an Amazon Echo last night. We got one for FIL for Father's Day and all loved it so were thinking about getting one. It was $50 cheaper than the sale price we got for FIL so I'm happy.
I'm thinking of trying the 4 months of unlimited music for $0.99 but I want to make sure I can cancel before the $7.99/month kicks in. And will I remember to cancel.

Nothing else jumped out at me so far.

If you end up liking unlimited music you can order through alexa on your echo for $3.99 a month.

I love my dot (have a blue tooth speaker with it). I stream a lot of Amazon Prime music. I can usually find a lot of music to listen to that comes included with Prime.

I got 50% off two pairs of New Balance Trail Runners in the model I really like. One pair in the men's, one pair in the women's. $30 each for a $70 marked retail pair of shoes. (I guess they were $60 normally on Amazon.) I also got a new pair of bluetooth headphones that I've been needing but have been putting off for about $5 less than I can usually buy them and a cute fit-n-flare dress that looks just about the right length for me to wear bare legged in the summer and with leggings or thick tights in the winter or even with blue jeans if I need a tunic that was half off.

I am about to ban myself from Amazon for the day. . .

I was looking for a deal on a tv. DS is taking the one we use in the basement to college. There is a TCL 43" for $214 which seems like a good deal, but the reviews are pretty mixed, so I haven't hit the button...

Warning: I've come across items listed as Prime Day deals and they're just the regular price. Two off the top of my head were Quest Protein Powder and RND lightning cables. In fact the cables were MORE than I paid for them a few days ago. So, know your prices. If you're not sure do a google search first.

I picked up three Seagate Slim 2TB EHDs for $59.99 apiece. Been wanting to replace an old one that's getting long in the tooth and set up one for each of my kids so their stuff isn't cluttering up mine.

They have amazon price histories for the entire life of the product. Im always watching out for the classic double the price trick and then make it 50% off.
I can never find much on Prime Day, for me Day after Christmas Sales and Black Friday have better deals.

Nah, they are/were active deals. A lot of things with the "regular price" marked out are never actually that price but the price they're offering for them now.

I bought an Amazon Echo for my DD. She's going to college in the fall. It was 50% off and was thinking about getting the color lights to go with it, but didn't. I am also buying a new Instant Pot since my DD melted my last one by making mac n cheese on the stove next to it without moving it out of the way.

Thanks for the camel camel camel reminder. I used it for my Instant Pot and the "Prime Day" price is the same as the regular price. THANKS AMAZON! I also noticed that it was *just* on sale for $13 less last week. Nice. It appears that camel camel camel will also send you a text when the price drops.

I'm not looking for anything specific but I did find some things that I "needed" LOL.
I grabbed a band with a buckle for my Alta. I have the fitbit brand leather band but recently its been falling off. I hope this band is just as comfortable.
I grabbed a portable charger for my Amazon dot. I always hated that it has to stay plugged in, and now I can move it around even if there isn't an outlet nearby.
I also got a new Kindle book, got the 40% credit in my account right away and bought another book. You only get the credit one time, so make sure you buy the more expensive book first.

THe Echo has speakers, the Dot does not. That's why I bought my DD the Echo.

It doesn't appear the Fire Stick is on sale. I wanted one to go with my DD's Echo so she can control her TV via the Echo in her dorm.
