Did you catch the preview for the upcoming episode with the Kentucky couple (David and Mary)? They show an interview part with them and Mary says, "we've never been around gay people." *pause* "I kinda like 'em!"



We were crackin up when we saw that!

Maybe we should apply to be on AR11... I wonder if they'd have any restrictions on killing your partner while in a foreign country, cause we'd probably get to that point! BUT, we wouldn't be getting our nails done!

I agree with being ticked off by the dad. How rude! I have a DD10 and the only thing I wish for her is that she finds someone who loves & respects her. And that treats her well, other than that, I don't care.

I agree, thank god someone said something about the gay guys. This is now two years in a row where the most annoying couples have been the gay guys. Not to offend anyone, but why can't they find an average, everyday gay male couple who aren't shown getting their nails done and dancing around in circles? I just cringed when they showed these clips. While being yourself is all well and good, I just wish the networks weren't always trying to get the most outlandish gay men they can find. Or am I off base?

BTW..thanks for the great tip about taping it. I thought about it and forgot to set the DVR for an extra hour...

I kept trying to tell my DP that he and I should audition for the show. I always thought that we were just regular guys but he tells me that of the two of us, he is the regular guy. Apparently, I'm something totally different We are soooo hooked on this show!

Love Amazing Race, and this season is excellent so far! If you're a fan and you haven't checked it out - Televisionwithoutpity.com has a great write-up of each episode by Miss Ali. It is usually pretty funny and she often points out many things I miss. They also have a discussion forum and many people are saying they think Peter (of Peter and one-leg-Sarah) is gay. What do you think? He is an ****** for sure, but one of us? I don't know.

Wallyb, I think it was Charla and Myrna. That was a good season and I liked Charla. Classic scene was Charla carrying a side of beef with winey Myrna tagging along.

I noticed when they were checking in that one was pinching the others arm while waiting for their arrival number. Oh... you KNOW they are gonna be enjoying that romantic getaway Travelocity trip they won together!

Oh, and the Cho brothers went home for being too "proud" and nice to the 'Bama girls. I liked the Cho's but they needed to go... stopping and asking for directions every 5 minutes? At least they'll be going on a cruise with "Kentucky" from that trip that Rosie gave them.

I think its a fantastic idea to be honest, I think that it gives the dad insite on other types of relationships, so he can have an even closer relationship with his daughter. I have to give the guy credit for trying.
