The funny thing is that most people forget that DJ Paolo (the eldest son) is 24 years old.

24? I didn't realize he was that old! to me his age makes his behavior even more appalling!!

It isn't a spoiler when the show has long been over.

I guess it is for a person that hasn't watched it yet.

Now there is a betting SPOILER (which in the past has almost always proven accurate, the winner of TAR7 was revealed early on through betting spoilers) floating around for TAR Family which reveal the winner, but to keep my own head, I'll keep it to myself.

I saw that too when someone posted it here before I told them they would be better off editing it out so no one see's it....

boo hoo, I really didn't want to know either.

I'm sorry if someone is watching re-runs and now found out who won a game long over. However, I don't think Slacking did anything wrong. We shouldn't have to censor (aka SPOILER) our posts about races that are not current.

Well sure but one can't help it if that person hadn't watched the show two years ago. Everyone really needs to expect that other ARs will be discussed here. We have done it all along.

Sure I was disapointed with some of the things they said last night.
I just find it funny that everyone criticizes the teenagers, but not the adults (except Linda) who say bad things.
I also think because they are Christians, they get watched that much more closely. People just wait for them to screw up

Actually at least two of the other teams have thanked God or prayed during a challenge (the most recent being the stunt flying).

Only the Weavers have made fools of themselves by claiming to be better than others due to their faith and religious lifestyle.

I feel sorry for Rolly. One terrible role model for a mother and two pieces of trash for sisters. He was calling names as well, but look at who he is with.

And they never fail to top themselves each leg. The speach on the mat was nothing short of insane. Blew the we're better than them line at the yield out of the water. They have lost touch with reality.

Go Linz and Bransen. Those are teams that I think people would actually want to hang out with, and they do. People forget how much time they have to spend with each other, basically doing nothing but wait, on almost every leg.

Just wondering - how long does the entire race take if you don't get eliminated? I know the guy probably said it and I missed it, but sometimes it's hard to figure out real time when you're watching it.

In a past AR, the yeild time has been 3 hours.

I knew it wasn't only 15 minutes in the past at least! I can't believe it's only 15 minutes this season.. that seems really lame.

Not sure of exactly how long, but I believe it's about 4 weeks.

And just like some other reality shows, getting eliminated doesn't mean you get to go home. Many times they are sent to a different location to spend the rest of the time. I'm guessing it's the same for the AR since they have the finale cheer section involving all the teams.

The entire race takes about 5-6 weeks to complete. This one started filming the 2nd week of June so they must've finished about the end of July. :flower:

I am not going to argue about the definition of the word spoiler because there is not right or wrong answer so let's just say that it was not considerate. Aprilgail2 had just posted that she was watching a previous season and for those that have read the entire thread you know that many posters haven't seen all of the previous seasons yet.

That's a bummer, I hate it when people do that. That's what the word SPOILER is for!

While some have exercised due care to not spoil it for others...this show is a rerun and the poster may not have been aware that some on here hadn't seen it.

I just don't think it is fair to react as though they just ruined the ending of a just opened on Friday and you are seeing it on Saturday movie.

No need to jump on the poster. They didn't know and it was an innocent mistake.

I will say a positive thing about the Weavers--they actually showed them praying at 2 appropriate times and not for selfish reasons. They prayed for Safety before/while Rolly went into the ocean and they prayed for their moms safety on the track.

Just a question since you made this comment.

Wouldn't it be "selfish" to do anything but gather all the racers in the area and pray for the safety of everybody invovled. That's certainly the norm in the sports environment that I've been involved with in the past.

Not saying that is what they have to do, but when talking about being "selfish" and what I people think would be the respectful way to handle what they have been doing, the group prayer deal is what comes to mind.

In my opinion it would have been more appropriate for them to pray for everyone's safety. That would be the true Christian thing to do.

At this point I am finding myself underwhelmed by the remaining families. It has been difficult to find a favorite...it's like trying to determine the best of the worst.

I really don't care who wins, I just want this season over and a new one to start in the old format with exotic locations and more difficult challenges.
