Friday night is just another night for us. The change won't bother me, I'm actually kind of glad I won't have to worry about it starting late because of sporting events all the time. Grimm is another show that has always been on Friday nights and seems to be doing just fine.

I wouldn't call Blue Bloods or Hawaii 5-0 rating bonanzas. Google their ratings and you can see they are well below average.
Generally, shows that are under performers, but not cancel worthy, are put on Friday or Saturday night.
TAR being moved scares me that it's underperforming and will meet it's demise sooner than later. We love the show. Of course, it'll be taped on Fridays because we do enjoy Friday evenings being busy rather than sitting in front of a TV.
Blue Bloods has 11.5 million viewers, Hawaii 5-0 has 9.7 million. Bonanzas, no. More than enough viewers to keep each on at least another year? Absolutely. Not being as popular wth the 18-49 demographic doesn't mean they're not working.
I'm happy with Amazing Race moving to Friday. As someone else stated - now it will start on time .
It really doesn't matter to my DVD what night TAR (or anything else) is on. It will continue to tape & I will continue to watch whenever, without commercials.
However, now that all TAR fans aren't recording The Good Wife to get the ending, what happens to those ratings? Rotfl

I wasn't happy to hear this news. I get the show a day late anyway so it has nothing to do with when I personally view it. It's that moving it to Friday seems like a nail in the coffin on the show. Networks do not put their favorite shows on Friday nights, period.

This is me. I am no busier Friday night than other nights--my kids always have somewhere to be and I am the one getting them to and from, but I DVR all my TV and watch at my convenience sans commercials. The only thing I EVER watch live is sporting events and occasionally the news.
I thought that honor went to Amazing Race: Family Edition
How come they didn't bring back James and Abba for All-Stars? They were awesome and only got eliminated because of a stolen passport. I read an article that they wanted to come back and race again. I would love to see them on All-Stars, I enjoy their drama-free style.
