Amazing Race All Star starts 2/23/14 Offical Thread no spoilers

I don't think I have ever seen so many teams reach the mat at once! I haven't ever seen them all there for last team. Cowboys got an interesting solution to their dilemma, didn't they?

Omg Mallory was bugging me. Own up to it. You forgot it. You said i've got it. Stop passing blame.

I know! He was carrying that big car! She was watching his backpack. She left it. She wasted more time by arguing with him. I don't blame him at all for wanting to turn around and get it. Since he had to leave his friend, I don't think his heart was ever into this race. Hopefully, they'll be asked on another race in the future.

I agree that his heart was not in the race. He really misses Bopper. Mallory kept saying, "someone will bring it." I think she was trying to pacify him, nobody would probably even see it. I wouldn't want to leave it either. All his clothes and belongings would be gone.

I knew that girl would sweet-talk the cowboys out of their express pass. I thought the pass brought them to the pit stop, but I guess it just got them out of that one challenge.

In one way the Cowboys are right and the express pass was giving out and used already so they don't have to worry about it. When they did it and had a hard time I was afraid they would be the last to the matt and wouldn't have been if they didn't give it to the blondes they would have been at the task a long time. All worked out though for them.

It was nice that they were all there at the end for the last team. It is hard working with someone you hardly know. I was surprised it was still where she left it.

I was yelling at them NOT to do it, but in hindsight, it was the right thing to do. They don't have to worry about it anymore, and only they have the right to bypass a task. Agree that Mallory was being childish about the whole backpack thing. She didn't say-"oh, here's your backpack" and she didn't check as Mark got in the car. Her responsibility. Her mistake.

What a great ending, though. Looks like everyone will be leaving at the same time next week. :thumbsup2

She was so annoying. I felt bad for Mark, but I won't miss her.

I really want to like those country singers, but they are delusional, thinking they worked Cord over for the pass and not realizing that it was a strategic decision for the cowboys, and really, it was up to Jet in the end, not Cord.

I agree.
The cowboys are used to making business decisions. As ranchers, that's what they do. I thought gifting the express pass made some sense. They didn't make any enemies by dragging it out. Now that the extra one is off the table, they have the only express pass. :thumbsup2

I thought it was really smart of the Cowboys to give the girls the pass. Now it's used and out of the game and they don't have to deal with people asking them for it.

Arrrgghhhhh.... Mallory!!!!!! :furious: Totally her fault. I'm so sad for Mark and I too hope that he and Bopper can be invited back once Bopper is healthy.

I'm wondering, though, why EVERYONE chose the hacky-sack like thing. There was minimal effort on their part involved with the other option. I'm wondering if it was worded like "spend xx minutes" getting this treatment thus everyone thinking (and possibly succeeding) in getting through the hacky-sack option faster?

So sad about Mark, not so much Mallory, I agree it was her fault. He said like 3 times, don't forget my backpack, and of course she did. I loved Mark and Bopper, hopefully, they will let them run another time in the future.

I was also surprised that no one picked the cupping. I thought it would take a shorter amount of time than trying to feather hacky-sack.

I was bummed that Mark & Mallory were eliminated but that means that Joey and Meghan made it :thumbsup2. I thought it was interesting that Meghan understood how stopping to help Jessica on the car thing may have eliminated her. Jessica and John were happy to take her help, but also just as happy to sprint past them to the mat. I don't blame Jessica & John AT ALL for both taking the help and then motoring past Joey & Meghan ... it was a hard lesson I think for Joey & Meghan who are nice people. Perhaps too nice.

I agree that it was Mallory's fault, but I would have left the backpack, they could have been first this leg if they didn't go back. I think his heart just wasn't in it and maybe if he was with his old partner he would have kept going.

I'm confused, lol.

I put the blame on Mark last night for losing. Yes, Mallory forgot the backpack, but seriously, did they really need to waste time going back for it? He admitted it only had his clothes (if his passport was in it, I'd totally understand the need), but clothes??? You're in a race for a million dollars, and you decide your clothes are more important than trying to win???? REALLY??

I would have been just as frustrated at Mallory for that poor decision. It cost them the game. He came across as stupid, stubborn and very childish to me. :confused3

I know, and then he kept saying that he is poor and doesn't have money for the clothes, the whole time I was thinking you could win enough money to buy a lifetime of a wardrobe.

I meant it was her fault for leaving the backpack, his fault for being eliminated.

I don't know why they didn't just go back for the backpack when they realized it was gone. They probably ended up going more out of their way double backing to the toy factory after dropping off the car.
