Ugh, had my dvr set and Amazing Race started late for some reason. Only saw about 40 minutes Hope the eliminated team was the one having a major meltdown at the Bubble Ride?

Doesn't help tonight, but maybe for next time:

I have a 2 hour buffer for AR so that 3 hours record. I has just a 1 hour until an episode started 90 minutes late once. :-(

It seems to be more important during football season, but basketball seasons will go over as well. And they never pre-empt 60 minutes.

How did Mark and Mallory end up as a team? What team didn't make it to the start line? DVR is now set for a weekly ses recording..

Unfortunately, Bopper had a pancreatic attack the day before the race was to start. He has an enlarged pancreas and the race doctor would not approve him for the race. Mallory stepped in for Bopper.

Watching the preview, I sure do hope they're not in last place next week!

Mark's partner Bopper was told he couldn't race by the AR doctor the night before the race was scheduled to start(or at least that is how they made it look) I guess mallory had nothing going on because she popped right in to fill in. They don't know each other.

Glad twinies are gone! Happy for Cowboys! They ran an amazing leg! So sad for Mark. Hopefully, he will/has recovered. How on earth did they have Mallory standing by? They must have a couple of teams "in the wings" in case a team can't run.

Looks like it's going to be a great season!

Love the cowboys! I also like the globetrotters.

I hope Mallory and her partner (can't remember his name) don't fight next week! It didn't look good for them on the previews. I was wondering how they got her on such short notice. I like them as a team, but can see how difficult it would be to do this race with someone you don't know. It's stressful enough with someone you do know!

Not crazy about the country singers, hope they don't sweet-talk the express pass out of the cowboys. Also not crazy about the you-tube people, and the couple where they guy said he "didn't need the half million dollars" when they lost with the express pass on their season.

Regarding Mallory being able to pop right in... yes, I'm sure they have at least one, probably more, teams on stand-by in case a team can't race at the last minute.

I'm really bummed that Bopper couldn't race. I loved how he and Mark really supported and were kind to each other no matter what. Hopefully Mark & Mallory can find a good groove.

I'm thinking that Bopper's condition was known going into the race and the last doctor's visit was the go/no go final check on him and that's why they were able to have Mallory in the wings. Of course, she was listed a while back, then it was taken down and Bopper was put up.
