Arrrgghhhhh.... Mallory!!!!!!Totally her fault. I'm so sad for Mark and I too hope that he and Bopper can be invited back once Bopper is healthy.
I'm wondering, though, why EVERYONE chose the hacky-sack like thing. There was minimal effort on their part involved with the other option. I'm wondering if it was worded like "spend xx minutes" getting this treatment thus everyone thinking (and possibly succeeding) in getting through the hacky-sack option faster?
The spa treatment sounded easier to me too. and more relaxing.

It looked scary to me, did you see the huge red welts it left on the body? Its like the creation of some huge hickeys
lol. I'm pretty sure it's the opposite of relaxing. Remember the foot massage a few seasons ago? Nevertheless, I would have done the cupping and not relied on a group of 4 to complete the task.
The follow up article I read gave some more detail. The backpack also had his glasses and extra disposable contacts which he cannot see without having on/in. They would have had to taken time to replace those at some point along the way and found money to do that.
Do you guys remember Amy Purdy, the double amputee from season 21 (Fall 2012, Josh & Brent's season)? She will be on Dancing with the Stars and is paired with Derek Hough.
I find it strange that Mallory had Mark's passport and motion sickness medicine. Why would those items be removed from his bag?
Those would have been in his stylish Amazing Race Fanny pack that they all wear. They usually keep the clue, their passports/id and money in those since it is a little safer. They are always throwing their backpacks down or leaving them in the cab but you don't want to risk losing those items. I am sure many keep their meds in there too. As someone with severe motion sickness I would have that in my fanny pack!
Debbie said:The TV guide interview was very telling. First, neither blamed the other at all. And his glasses were in his backpack. I know that I would not be able to do anything without my glasses. And the sentence that screamed out to me was: " I didn't want to do the Race at all, but I knew Bopper needed it just as bad as I did. He kept telling me to do it, so I said I'll do it for him. "
He had contacts that were due to be switched out within the next day or two. I can see why he'd leave the extra contacts/glasses IN his backpack (and not fanny pack), since the backpack was always with him. I have both, and there is no way that I can see without one or the other. I fully understand his dilemma. This is going to sound mean but didn't he build the car without the glasses? He could have continued on without them I think.
