Also, with only 5 teams left, it can't be hard to count the clues in the box. D & D were 1st to the clue box, they could see there were 5 clues in the box, telling them they are 1st.

Charla and Mirna were the first ones to the yield box. The BQs were second. So there would have been 4 clues left. They knew that D&O and E&D were somewhere because they all had been on the plane together.

I can understand why Danielle would be upset to get yielded. In her season Lake and Michelle yielded Danielle and her partner, even though Ray and Yolanda were still not to the cluebox. And because Danielle and Dani had been yielded they were eliminated. So I can understand why she would be upset to get yielded again for no reason.

I can understand why Danielle would be upset to get yielded. In her season Lake and Michelle yielded Danielle and her partner, even though Ray and Yolanda were still not to the cluebox. And because Danielle and Dani had been yielded they were eliminated. So I can understand why she would be upset to get yielded again for no reason.

Yeah, but by using the yield on Danielle and Dani, there are two teams much further behind. That gave Lake and Michelle more of a chance of not being eliminated. Also, maybe Danielle and Dani were a stronger team than Ray and Yolanda. I know I would want to eliminated any of the stronger teams first.

Phil said something about buying the newspapers from the residents. So I guess they were supposed to buy them. I didn't really see money changing hands though from the residents. Maybe they just didn't show it.

Yes that was bothering me all show. I kept hoping that maybe that's how college is spelled in France, but I wasn't holding my breath.

It would appear most didn' have to pay anything for them, even though they set it up as a possibility. That one guy even said to the BQ that she probably woudln't have any trouble getting as many as she wanted for free.

I've read from former contestants that the producers will sometimes put extra clues in the box or take some out or whatever, to throw teams off as to their position. I also think that all the photos are left in the yield box.

I think Dustin and Kandice yielded Eric and Danielle because they thought they were in a three way race for last place. I don't think they knew Uchenna and Joyce were so far behind.

All the teams (with the exception od Mirna and Charla- mostly because they are oblivious-IMO) seemed to be really surprised at their position. Danny and Oswald even said to Phil that "we're the last team to arrive" Dustin and Kandice seemed shocked that they were first. I think they used the yield intelligently- considering the information they had at the time.

I think Eric is a disgusting pig for repeatedly calling D and K "hookers" and I think Danielle even worse for not saying word one to him about it. I get that he's mad about being yielded, I understand a little venting..but hookers? Give me a break- because they are women who are beaitng him in a race, they are....hookers? Shut up, Eric.

As for Eric calling the BQ's "hos" ... that's not acceptable either. Especially when he repeated that little gem to the other teams. It's apparent that he has not grown up since his previous season.

I don't get why people get on this show and then complain about parts of the game. Fast Forwards, Yeilds, Intersections are all part of the race and keep it interesting. If they didn't like those things they shouldn't be racing to begin with!

I'm back to rooting for the BQs along with the Cha-Chas.

UGH! that is my DH. He whines and complains every week how unfair the game is. He hates that the teams have a catch up point, he hates that the teams have to find specific forms of transportation.

I hate listening to him. I told him I've changed my mind about wanting to be on the show with him. Not if I have to listen to him whine about how unfair everything is.

I liked U&J but I liked it even more that teams are haivng to take risks and actually experience what's it's like to do these things rather than have entire routes planned by the producers.

It was interesting that the teams thought U&J may have made a big mistake with the short layover to change planes and they were right.

I liked U&J but I liked it even more that teams are haivng to take risks and actually experience what's it's like to do these things rather than have entire routes planned by the producers.

That's what it was like the first couple of seasons. As far as I remember, they didn't start "providing" flights until after 9/11, when there were nowhere near as many flights available. I do like it better this way though - I like that they can end up on so many different flights, all heading to the same place.
