I hope not. I kind of like them. They seem to play fair, and are rather funny. Seem more geniune to me. I doubt they will win though.

That's what it was like the first couple of seasons. As far as I remember, they didn't start "providing" flights until after 9/11, when there were nowhere near as many flights available. I do like it better this way though - I like that they can end up on so many different flights, all heading to the same place.

I believe they always provided the flights since the beginning, but they were a little more sly about it. Obviously they have to check beforehand to make sure there are flights out around the time the teams will need them, and that they have enough room.

While this one incident with U&J made for a differnt ending for a change, they wouldn't want that to be the norm. No suspense if somebody is out every week just because they missed a connection.

I read some spoilers from another board, so I won't play in the next to go guessing, wouldn't be fair. Not sure if they're accurate or not but just in case I'll remain silent.


On last night, I was bummed that U & C went the way they did, it was so lack luster and took all the fun out of the episode. At this point I'll be happy if anyone but Mirna & Charla win, they're just working my last nerve. But my two faves are the BQ's and Oswald and Danny.

The clue to the cookies definitely said "make your way there by foot". I re-winded it to make sure. Sometimes when teams don't follow directions, they don't get the penalty until the next leg, probably because the producers didn't notice right away. So, I'm sure we'll see Charla and Mirna and Danielle and Eric get a penalty for taking a cab there.

There was some speculation on another board that sometimes penalties might not be show if they don't a) effect the outcome of that leg. or b) add to the drama. It makes sense since they have to edit hundreds of hours of footage into an hour long episode.

If you think they don't fight, you haven't been watching the show. All the teams have their bad points but their holier than thou attitude is just plain annoying and they are two of the rudest players that have ever played in this game.

C & M are tough they are funny but they are mean. They like to act like they are above it all whatever

I like them too! I love them Those Cuban boys but I think they're next. I love when they talk to each other in spanish (slang) and the production can't translate it.

And I just want to point out a cool feature that allows you to use several quotes in one post. All you have to do is click the middle button down at the lower right corner of the post if you want to quote it. You can do this to as many posts as you want, then when you're ready, just click respond and all the quotes will be there. Also, there is an edit button. If you forgot something and want to add it to your post, you can just click "edit" so that you don't have to start a new post.

I love that feature! I would prefer to read ONE post with replies to multiple people than several posts one after another. After the second or third I just end up skimming and skipping and I don't read everything (sorry PixieDust32!).

I noticed that too and wondered about it. I thought the clue specifically said you had to collect the papers from the neighborhood people? Sometimes it seems arbitrary the way they enforce or overlook infractions.

This was already covered. The Road Block description said they might have to buy the papers form the locals. It would appear to be a situation where the locals buy papers and seell them for a profit at the recycling center. Around here people used it do the same thing with aluminum cans.
